    The content creator reflected on his newfound fame after spending time with Davido and Cubana Chief Priest.

    He expressed his desire to make a lasting impact rather than solely focusing on monetary gains.

    He dismissed the notion that money is his primary concern, emphasising his desire to create a meaningful impact in the online world.

    He said: “Only a mumu will think if I want to make mad money right now I won’t, but I don’t want that life. I want to make an impact.”

    BBNaija Level-up winner, Josephina Otabor aka Phyna has bragged about making Davido popular following their saga on the X app.

    She claimed to have made the “unavailable” crooner available by making him famous because of Davido’s earlier statement that he didn’t know who she was.

    The feud began when Davido accidentally liked a tweet that was critical of Phyna’s fans.

    Phyna called out the singer over this incident.

    In an attempt to make amends, Davido explained that it was an unintentional action and that he was not familiar with who Phyna was.

    In response to the incident, Phyna decided to speak out on her Instagram live session, comparing Davido’s actions to those of people who had previously bullied artist Mohbad.

    During the live session, she shared her perspective and seemed determined to address the situation.

    Taking to her Twitter page now called X, Phyna proudly expressed her victory, declaring that she had “made the UNAVAILABLE AVAILABLE.”

    She appeared to be reveling in her ability to get a response from Davido, despite his earlier claims of ignorance.

    She wrote: “I like the tears from the live. Mind aired, case closed. I made the UNAVAILABLE AVAILABLE”.

    Former BBNaija participant, Natacha Akide aka Tacha, has continued to drum up support for her junior colleague, Phyna over Davido’s denial of not knowing who she is.

    The Nation reported that Tacha had taken to Twitter to show her support for Phyna, who found herself in a heated exchange with Davido.

    Davido had mistakenly liked a tweet shading Phyna and had later apologised to her, stating that he didn’t know her.

    Jumping to her defence, Tacha assured Phyna that even if Davido doesn’t know her, God knows her and a lot of people know her.

    In a recent video on her social media page, Tacha berated Davido for setting Phyna up for more dragging with his apology, which she considers insincere.

    To make the singer understand better how his apology affected Phyna, she noted how AY’s joke against him was blown out of proportion and taken out of context, causing a backlash. Despite being a celebrity, the singer apologized for the incident.

    She stated that Davido could have done the same, and either overlooked the issue or apologised sincerely without setting her up with more dragging and insults.

    The hype priestess recently called Davido out for being the father of all nations, implying that he had several baby mamas.

    The beef started when Davido liked a tweet that was critical of Phyna.

    Phyna asked what she had ever done to him, stating she even congratulated him on the birth of his twins.

    Davido responded by saying he doesn’t know who she is and she shouldn’t be offended.

    An upset Phyna stated that even if Davido does not know who she was, God does.

    She confessed that she was simply being herself and had been unfairly portrayed as a nasty person.

    In a vulnerable moment, she even suggested wanting to change her nationality, implying that she no longer wanted to be a Nigerian owing to the extreme hatred she was suffering.

    In a new development, Phyna slammed Davido for having several mothers for his children.

    She addressed his supporters who were bombarding her DM with harsh messages, telling them to focus on their “father of all nations,” a reference to Davido’s role as a baby daddy to several children.

    Fast-rising rapper, Tochukwu Ojogwu aka Odumodublvck, has said that the Hip-Hop genre and its artists aren’t respected in Nigeria. 

    Guest starring in a recent interview with the CTRL Room, the ‘Declan Rice’ crooner recounted how organisers didn’t use to offer him seats at award events during his days as a struggling artiste.

    He also recounted how he turned down a suggestion from his team to affiliate with Afrobeats superstar, Davido, to achieve fame.

    He said instead he gravitated toward UK grime stars whose genre aligned with his vision.

    Odumodublvck said: “In 2019, someone in my team said we should go to Lagos and meet Davido. But I was like, ‘What will Davido do for me? Even if Davido takes me to America and puts me on stage and I’m rapping my stuff, his fans won’t understand because they are Afrobeats fans.’

    “But these guys: Teezee, BOJ, and Sholz, are the pipeline to the UK market. And those are the closest guys I sound like internationally. So why don’t I follow that route to get to wherever I want to get to?’

Number one in the country against all odds. Tell them, they’ve to respect that thing. Because we went to an award show and we didn’t even have seats. They don’t respect hip-hop in Nigeria. They don’t respect us.”

    The rapper, however, admitted that he conceded to Wizkid’s controversial statement that “hip-hop is dead”, stressing “I was tremendously happy about Wizkid’s statement… Hip-Hop was dead.”

    A controversial Nigerian actor, Uche Maduagwu, made his voice heard on Instagram as he publicly called out Sophia for not sharing celebratory posts on social media, congratulating Davido and Chioma on the birth of their twins.

    Uche boldly asserted that if the roles were reversed, the OBO crooner would likely have unfurled the virtual red carpet of well-wishes had Sophia been the one ushering in twins with her ‘soon-to-be spouse.’

    He further chimed in that crafting a congratulatory post would undoubtedly earn her brownie points in the eyes of Davido’s father.

    Multi award-winning singer Davido has recounted how he ran his DMW record label like a charity home to artists for four years.

    He revealed this during an interview session with American media personality Steve Stoute on a panel discussion in New York at UnitedMasters SelectCon 005

    The new father of twins expressed that he viewed his record label as a platform to support his friends’ growth and help them achieve their aspirations.

    The renowned artist, known for his hit “Unavailable,” emphasised to the new signees under DMW that the music industry is a business where revenue needs to be generated.

    Davido also shared his happiness in seeing his own success positively impact those he initially signed to the music label, such as Mayorkun, Peruzzi, and Dremo.

    “My label was really more like a family to me, I was young, to me I was just happy putting my boy on. I ran a label for four years and I didn’t take one dime from my artistes.

    “I was paying for videos, I was paying for accommodation, I was paying for welfare. I was just happy seeing that my success could rub off on others. That was money to me.

    “Afrobeats got to a place where its global and I have to explain to the artistes “in these days this is business, to make money you gotta spend money’,” he said.

    Popular DMW Records signee, Peruzzi has opened up on being the mastermind and lyricist to his boss Davido‘s hit songs, ‘Risky’ and ‘Unavailable’.

    In a recent freestyle, Peruzzi made bold assertions about his contribution to the creation of two of Davido’s popular songs.

    The video has since then circulated the social media spaces.

    He stated: “Risky, oh boy to respect when I wrote Risky. When I wrote ‘Unavailable’ I was still unavailable, I did it though; see the outcome, unbelievable.”

    Some argued that Peruzzi’s decision to provide the songs to Davido was a strategic move, recognising that Davido’s tremendous star power played a significant role in the success and widespread popularity of the songs.

    Others stated that if Peruzzi had released the songs independently, they might not have attained the same level of fame and recognition, particularly in light of Peruzzi’s previous challenges in creating viral hits.

    Multi award-winning singer, David Adeleke aka Davido has shared moment he and wife, Chioma discovered they were expecting twins.

    He spoke at length during his guest appearance on the United Masters’ Selection 005 with host Steve Stoute.

    Davido acknowledged the difficulty he faced with the death of his son, Ifeanyi, stating that many individuals could have lost faith in God following similar circumstances.

    However, he was resilient in holding onto his faith and continued to pursue his passion despite the challenges.

    He said: “It’s very hard, a lot of people who those things happened to, you will never want to believe in God every in your life I’m telling you, but to still have faith and to still be able to do what I love, having a great team around me, just focusing and now we’re almost at the finish line.”

    The ‘Feel’ crooner recounted the moment when he and his wife received the incredible news and the overwhelming emotions that accompanied it.

    The artist disclosed that they were shaking with astonishment upon learning that they were expecting not one, but two babies.

    He added that what made it interesting was the fact that the twins came just a year after he lost his son, Ifeanyi, which is in the same month of October.

    Ifeanyi tragically passed on in October 2022.

    “When me and my wife found out, we were shaking and it was in the same month. My son passed away last year October, my wife gave birth this year October so it’s crazy,” he said.

    Popular music producer Samuel Oguachuba aka Samklef has slammed Davido over allegations that he leaked the video of his wife and twins on the internet.

    Davido chided the producer-turned-blogger after he shared a clip of Davido and his wife, Chioma with their twins leaving the hospital in Atlanta, USA.

    Reacting in a video message shared via his Instagram page, Samklef denied leaking the video while reminding him of being his boss in the music industry.

    He described Davido’s reaction as “pathetic and childish.”

    Samklef said: “First of all, I’ve never posted anything negative about you, Davido. But today, Davido, you allowed your emotions… You came to my timeline to disrespect me.

    “First and foremost, we are not mates. You met me in the industry. We’re not mates. If you’re Davido, you’re Davido for yourself. We’re celebrating your good news. Do you want to intimidate me?

    “You come to my timeline to say I’m wicked, I’m a clout chaser. Then what are you? Are you not a clout chaser? What have you been doing all your life? You think I’m afraid of you? I’m trying to be respectful but you don’t want to respect yourself.

    “First and foremost, who recorded that video? Secondly, the person that recorded and leaked that video is from your circle. Why didn’t you blame the person? Why blaming me?”
