    Why I posted Davido, Chioma’s twins online – Samklef

    Popular music producer Samklef has explained why he shared the video of his colleague, Davido and wife with their newborn twins online.

    The Nation reported that David Adeleke and Chioma were seen leaving a hospital with a set of twins in the United States of America.

    Samklef, who allegedly shared the video wrote: “Oya it’s official congratulations to #davido x #thechefchi double blessings. One boy one girl noni!”

    Reacting to the video, OBO as he is fondly called slammed the producer, calling him a wicked person. The singer wrote: “F*king clout chaser!!!, “U know ur not meant to post this.”

    In another comment, he wrote: “Wtf”, “Delete pls ur a wicked person.”

    Reacting, Samklef on his Instagram handle wrote: “Saw the video on their blogs on Twitter and posted. What did I do wrong? Na me record the video? Na crime for me to post like other blogs abi I no understand. Let Samklef breathe.”

    In another post, he wrote:“Me and #davido are kool. Davido initially believed I was the one who leaked the video after our DM conversation. However, I clarified that I obtained the video from the public domain on Twitter. Wishing blessings upon your home and family.”

    In the video, Chioma is seen holding newborn twins in her arms as she’s sitting in a wheelchair while elated Davido is standing beside her.

    The Nation reports that the ‘Feel’ crooner welcomed a set of twin babies with his wife, Chioma Adeleke on Tuesday, October 10.

    The couple had tragically lost their son Ifeanyi in October 2022, at their Banana Island, Lagos residence.

    The Nation reported that Davido and Chioma reportedly welcomed their new babies on Monday in the United States of America.

    A popular cleric Evangelist Gospel Agochukwu shared a hint about the delivery in a post on his Church’s official Facebook page on Tuesday morning.

    The cleric uploaded his supposed chat with Davido.

    Although the singer has kept mum over the reports, he shared a video where he is rocking a black suit.

    The singer tweeted on Sunday that this week would be the best week in his life.

    He wrote: “Gonna be the best week of my life.”

    Afrobeats maestro, Davido Adeleke aka Davido has reportedly welcomed a set of twin babies with his wife, Chioma Adeleke.

    The bereaved couple who tragically lost their only son and child in October last year at their Banana Island, Lagos residence was reported to have welcomed their bundles of immense joy on Monday, October 9.

    According to an inside source of PM News, the babies arrived in the evening at 9pm.

    One Evangelist Gospel Agochukwu, also confirmed the report in a post on his church’s official Facebook page.

    The cleric shared a screenshot of what seemed like a Whatsapp chat with the ‘Timeless’ crooner, where he revealed that his wife just put to bed, twin babies, a boy and a girl.

    Davido reportedly wrote: “We don born twin. Na boy and girl we born. Baddest to the world.”

    “Gist me this gist well,” reacted the cleric.

    The latest twin dad replied: “Chioma don born twins at 9 pm. Omo, I’m so excited.”

    Superstar Afrobeat singer, Davido Adeleke aka Davido has gushed over his junior colleague, Rema feat and achievement in the United States of America.

    During a recent interview on UAE’s #1 Music Station The Kris Fade Show, the ‘Feel’ crooner expressed shock at how ‘Calm Down‘ by Rema held it down on U.S. charts.

    Davido stated that it beat his imagination that Afrobeat has grown globally and that he’s proud to see stars like Rema killing it across the globe.

    “Years ago, I never thought a Nigerian artiste would have a Top 5 record in America. Rema has had Top 5 records in America for the past eight months, non-shaken,” he stated.

    It is worth noting that Rema’s ‘Calm Down’ and its remix featuring Selena Gomez recently achieved a new feat as the first Nigerian song to stay a year on U.S. Billboard.

    Davido to Pinnick: I will double the money in return

    Famous singer Davido has come hard on the former Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) President Amaju Pinnick over the allegation that he was absent from a show in Warri after being paid $94,600.

    The Nation reported that Pinnick, in a video that surfaced on social media, accused the Afrobeat singer of not coming for a show in Warri scheduled for October 6, 2023, after being paid and his flight arranged.

    “We paid Davido $94,600 on the 6th of April. We paid $18,000 for his plane,” he said.

    Davido had earlier responded  through a series of posts on X on Saturday, referring to Pinnick as one throwing stones yet living in a glass house.

    However, in a new post, the singer, via his Instagram stories over the weekend, vowed to return and double the money to any football charity organisation in Nigeria.

    He further accused the former football chairman of using the money meant for the organisation to live in a high-brow area in Lagos.

    He wrote: “If I’m returning any money. I’ll return it to any football charity organization. In fact, I will double it. Mr Dreams Crusher.. imagine how many Nigerian footballers have had their dreams crushed because person one lives for Ikoyi by force.

    “Warri people hate you! And you know! Amaju, come outside let’s talk! I will be performing in Warri in December! I want to see who get mind stop me.. body go tell you.

    “I wanna donate money to @thenofficial been suffering for too long it’s not fair.. let’s do something, @puma.”

    Businessman drags Davido over alleged N200m ‘no show’ pay

    A businessman with Instagram account @abusalamiofficial has accused singer Davido of failing to show up for a show in Warri after getting N176 million.

    He claimed the money spent by his management exceeded over N200m.

    On his Instagram page, @abusalamiofficial wrote: “Davido, honestly, it’s shameful that, though you appear rich, you’re not a classy guy. While you might be loved by many, you are actually a thief.”

    Responding to a follower’s comment, he revealed more details: “₦176 million paid directly to his account, further cancellation of 3 shoots, plus hotel bills he made me pay for him, totaling over ₦200 million.

    Davido’s personal logistics manager, Israel DMW, has slammed former NFF President, Amaju Pinnick, in defence of his boss for publicly accusing the singer of an alleged breach of contract.

    Israel DMW called on Pinnick to provide an accurate account of the situation, emphasising the importance of upholding agreements.

    He made it clear that Davido is someone who takes his commitments seriously and doesn’t disappoint.

    Israel DMW expressed discontent with how Pinnick used the opportunity to praise Burna Boy while talking down on Davido.

    He stressed that if Burna Boy was a better option than Davido, he should have initially gone for him rather than waste OBO’s time.

    He wrote: “Amaju. Kindly tell the whole World the real truth of what happened. Agreement is fully agreement, and Oga would never joke with that. You coming on stage to hype Burna over Oga, wasn’t good at all. The same Burna was still alive. You should have just contacted him than wasting Oga’s time. You claim to love ur Warri people that much? Where’s the money collected by you from FIFA, to build a befitting stadium for the same Warri people till today?”.

    Comedian AY apologises to Davido over insensitive joke

    Ace comedian, Ayo Makun aka AY has apologised to afrobeats star, Davido over his insensitive joke with a sprinkle of disrespect.

    The Nation reported that AY received lots of backlash on Sunday following his viral comedy clip where he was seen subtly mocking Davido.

    During a recent performance, he made Davido the subject of his joke, as he commented on Davido’s multiple baby mamas.

    He described the singer as having a “small penis,” which he uses to father children with different women.

    AY further compared his situation, claiming to possess a “big dick” but having fathered only two children with considerable gaps between their births.

    He expressed bewilderment at how Davido could attract so many baby mamas despite what he considered to be a small penis.

    This particular joke did not land well with many netizens and Nigerians, who found it offensive and inappropriate.

    Having faced criticisms, AY took to his Instagram noting that Davido has the right to be angry with him, especially with the way blogs twisted it.

    He noted how it is always a learning experience for everyone in the entertainment business and he deserves every backlash for the joke that was badly delivered.

    Begging him not to reason it, he declared that he remains Davido’s number one fan.

    “I am so sorry for telling that joke the way it came out in Warri. I shouldn’t even call it a joke anymore. It wasn’t funny like it was during my tour of the US and Canada, and you have every right to be angry after seeing how the blogs used it.

    “Please know that it is always a learning experience for all of us in the entertainment business. I deserve any backlash or negative thoughts coming my way for the joke that was badly delivered in Warri. So, no excuses at all, my Aburo. No reason am. I remain your number one fan, and I love you, @davido,”he said.
