    TALENTED music artiste, songwriter and producer, Ezerioha Ebuka better known as Popito Baron has released a new single, Laslas’, featuring reigning female pop star, Teni the Entertainer.

    This is coming after the successful release of his classic tune, ‘Coming Thru’, which is still enjoying massive airplay.

    Popito Baron, since pitched tent with the TNBT records has worked on many musical projects.

    He is known to have produced hits songs for big names in the entertainment industry that includes Timaya, Skales, Davido, Orezi, Faze, Tunde Ednut, Solidstar, Cynthia Morgan, Terry Apala, Chuddy K, Morachi, Tonto Dike, Stormrex and Splash amongst others.

  • Davido, 21 Savage, others to perform at Roots Picnic, Philadelphia

    Popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke a.k.a. Davido is to perform at the 11th Roots Picnic headlining the 20th Anniversary celebration of The Root’s classic album, ‘Things Fall Apart’ on June 1 in Philadelphia.

    The boss of DMW with 9.9 million followers took to his Instagram handle @davidoofficial to announce to his fans with a bold flier of the event.

    The Roots Picnic is an annual music festival created and hosted by American Hip Hop Group cum Grammy Award winners hip `The Roots.’

    The festival which is a sell out every year would be held at The Mann at Fairmount Park, Philadelphia.

    Co-founder, Shawn Gee, and manager of The Roots serve as executive producer of the festival.

    Other artists to perform include 38-year-old New York-born broadcaster, former rapper and songwriter, Joseph Anthony Budden II a.k.a. Joe Budden Podcast and 26-year-old London born Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph a.k.a. 21 savage.

    Others are 24-year-old Atlanta born rapper Dominique Jones a.k.a. Lil Baby, 21-year-old California born R&B singer Gabriella Wilson a.k.a H.E.R., The Roots and many more.

    However, genres during the festival include R&B, Hip Hop, Hard Rock, Blues, and contemporary.

    Others are Jazz, Reggae, Rock, Indie, Bluegrass, country and many others.

    The festival which held on June 7, 2008 is a one-day event but was expanded for two days in 2012.

    Tickets would go on sale from Friday March 15 at noon. However, everyone over two years of age is expected to get a pass and no chair would be allowed, only blanket.

  • Davido gifts personal assistant Mercedes Benz car

    In a show of gratitude, hip hop megastar Davido has gifted his friend and personal assistant, Lati, a red Mercedes Benz car.

    Taking to Instagram late Saturday, Davido shared a video of the vehicle reportedly worth N70m being offloaded from a container.

    “U’ve been looking after me since I was 13,” wrote Davido.

    “Your probably the only one that I know would do the same if we switched positions !! Love you my brother! My back bone!! Enjoy this small gift! @ t_ddon …… Nah me pick Lati call las las.”

    Responding by also posting the same video on Instagram, Lati went down memory lane about the love he has received from Davido and the Adeleke family.

    “I have known you since you were 10 years old, that was when I lost both my parents,” he wrote.

    “You are always there for me like a brother and you have never turned your back against me, I know God would continue to bless you and your family. I pray for everyone that your “destiny helper would look for you even though they are far from you, God would bring them close to you” DAVID ADELEKE aka DAVIDO is an ANGEL and a KING not just an artist. I pray people like this live long in good health and prosperity. And I Thank GOD for your INCOMING blessing that the world would soon know about. Luh you bro @davidoofficial”

    Last week, Davido had said he was going to buy cars for his close associates and started by gifting a Mercedes Benz to Aloma who is also with his 30 Billion Gang.

    The song was produced by South Africa’s Tatenda Terence Kamera while the video was shot in the London, UK and it was directed by Luke Biggins.

  • Davido gets pass to Kayafest

    Hip hop mega star, Davido, is set to feature at Kayafest this April in the United States.

    Kaya Fest derives from ‘Kaya,’ the title of an album by Bob Marley and the event is a one-day Music and Awareness Festival to celebrate unity. In 2017, it was named one of the Top 10 Music Moments by Miami New Times.

    Davido shared the news of his performance at the event via his Instagram handle.

    “MIAMI !!!! April 20th! 4/20,” he wrote as he shared the poster.

    This year’s event is scheduled to hold on April 20, 2019 at the Bayfront Park Amphitheatre in Miami, Florida. It will feature some of Bob Marley’s children like Stephen, Ziggy, Damian, Julian and Ky-Mani. Others acts to perform include Busta Rhymes, Sean Paul, Chi Ching Ching, Protoje, Third World, Kes The Band and Walshy Fire of Major Lazer. The rest are Koffee, Skip Marley, Yohan Marley, Mystic Marley, Yardcore, DJ Rassarella, Silent Addy and others.

    According to the organisers, each year Kaya Fest invites an incredible roster of reggae-influenced artists to celebrate one love, unity, peace and “overstanding” alongside supporters from all over the world.

    “When we touch the stage as the brothers it’s very unique,” said Stephen Marley

    “The whole energy of us on stage at once is a great vibe. It’s for all of us, the people. During Kaya Fest, we are one.”

    NICKELODEON has announced the host and nominees for the 2019 Kids’ Choice Awards (KCAs) along with a first-time Nickelodeon KCA nomination livestream event across Nickelodeon’s YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter handles and channels.

    The Nickelodeon 2019 Kids Choice Awards will air on Nickelodeon (DStv channel 305) and Nick Toons (DStv channel 308) at 5:00pm on Sunday 24 March 2019.

    The two effervescent stars that make up the Nigerian nominees for the only live event where kids’ votes count and the biggest stars of the day line up to get slimed include: Actress, Adesua Etomi-Wellington and media personality, IK Osakioduwa in the Favourite African Star category and globally acclaimed musician Davido as the Africa nominee in the Favourite Global Music Star award featured amongst David Guetta and Taylor Swift.

    Prominent Hip Hop artist and musician, AKA, who was at the press conference with his daughter said, “Everyone who knows me will tell you, I am a BIG kid at heart.   • Valentine’s: Davido surprises Chioma with gifts

    Nigerian singer and multi-winning artist, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has surprised his girlfriend, Chioma Rowland with valentine’s gifts.

    In a video shared on his Instagram page, Davdo surprised Chioma with a serenade, cakes, a bottle of wine and boxes of chocolate.

    It could be said that Davido has mastered the art of gifting his lover, Chioma as in 2018 he bought her a Porshe as her birthday gift that broke the internet.

    The singer who met his lover in Babcock University when she was a 300 level student of Economics, was totally in love at first sight. Unlike his two baby mamas, he confirmed his relationship immediately it was speculated and since then, he has been screaming all about her on the internet.

    In his interviews,Davido says that he has no problem admitting that he is in love and says that some people have unreasonable fears of speaking about their feelings publicly.
