    Describing it as the best decision she has ever made, she posted pictures from her water baptism at Holy Trinity Church in Brompton, UK, on Instagram, while reflecting on her spiritual journey.

    “This summer, I made THE best decision of my life— to fully dedicate my life to God. Baptism isn’t just a ceremony; it’s a transformation. I am a new creation, reborn in His grace. The way to live is actually to die,” she wrote.

    Cuppy explained that baptism is not just a ceremony, but a transformation, and she feels reborn in God’s grace.

    Cuppy said she feels she finally understands what it means to live a purpose-driven life at 31, while also learning to live with intention and guidance from a higher power.

    “Of course, I am still DJ Cuppy, but now, every beat, every moment, has a deeper meaning. I see life in a new, brighter light. At 31, I finally understand what it really means to live a purpose-driven life.

    Her grandmother, Madam Cecilia Abosede Attah, was the mother-in-law of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola.

    DJ Cuppy expressed her grief and took comfort in believing that her grandmother was now in heaven.

    She also praised her grandmother for the significant influence she had on her mother and herself, saying, “I’m so grateful for the way she shaped my mum, who then shaped me.”
