    Famous disc jockey Florence Otedola aka DJ Cuppy has hinted on bidding goodbye to her multi millionaire pink Ferrari Portofino.

    The Nation reported that the billionaire’s daughter marked her 31st birthday a few days ago which followed a public message from her father, Femi Otedola.

    The Ferrari worth about N90m was gifted to her by her father two years ago.

    The internet sensational DJ, who recently celebrated her birthday, is astonished as to what the New Year has in store.

    On Instagram, DJ Cuppy revealed that as part of her partnership with the airline, her playlists would henceforth be available to travellers.

    Announcing the deal via the official page, British Airways wrote in part: “British Airways is bringing Nigerian-born musician. Cuppy’s Afrobeats to flyers, with an exclusive playlist available onboard from November 1. Londoner, Cuppy, whose DJ skills have taken her to over 30 countries across the globe, has curated her top tracks for the airline’s inflight entertainment system.

    “To celebrate the increase in the number of flights between Africa and London with the launch of British Airways’ new route from Accra to London Gatwick – in addition to its daily services to London Heathrow -Cuppy has created a playlist that transports travellers to a far-away paradise before their flight has even touched down.”

    Reality star, Terseer Waya, fondly called Kiddwaya has playfully called out DJ Cuppy on her 31st birthday and warned her to desist from making pink hair, saying that she isn’t getting any younger.

    Kiddwaya posted photos of the duo via Instagram on Saturday, November 11, with a funny message to the Billionaire’s daughter.

    The former All-Star season housemate said Cuppy had been terrorising him before he became famous, adding that it is his turn to do the same.

    International Disc Jockey (DJ) and philanthropist, Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, also known as DJ Cuppy, has advocated quality education for children across the world.

    Otedola spoke at the occasion of the International Day of Peace Youth Event at the United Nations, New York, on Thursday, September 14.

    Speaking about how passionate she is about Sustainable Development Goal 4 which is about quality education, Florence called for the protection, support, and empowerment of girls.

    Otedola said: “Peace begins with us. You can make the world a better place. I would not be standing here if not because of my education.

    “I have a deep passion for making an impact through education. My foundation founded six years ago has been focused on Education. I’ve three University degrees. Education is everything, it has paved the way for me. It has allowed me to become a woman with an international vision.

    “Life can be tough and unpeaceful. I was in Borno state, Nigeria in 2019, and I was frightened. We need to protect, support and empower girls. We know empowerment can put food on the table, but education can build the table.

    “We’ve projects which support over 50,000 people. I want to challenge you all to start. We can do something meaningful. It takes an effort. Find what your gift is, and see how to use it. Peace begins with us.”

    Popular Nigerian poet and writer, Ms. Karimot Odebode in her remarks called for collective action to end female genital mutilation practices.

    She said: “In Nigeria, there are about millions of out-of-school children. Also, children in IDP camps are suffering. Every child has the right to quality education. Peace is fundamental to our progress as humans.

    “Gender equality is critical to the achievement of global peace. Women should not be subjected to female genital mutilation. I’m committed to ending FGM. We must take into consideration how harmful traditional practices are dragging us back.

    “Look inward at yourself, look outward in your community. Government must achieve global goals to attain global peace.”

    The Under-Secretary-General for Global Communications, Melissa Fleming in her remarks said: “Millions of people suffer from poverty, hunger, injustice, and equalities which are in turn further threatening peace. The situation is dire. But I’m really happy to tell you hope is not elusive. There is a roadmap for a better world.

    “In 2015, the United Nations General Assembly leaders from all UN member states made a historic promise to work together to secure the rights and wellbeing of everyone on a thriving planet by the year 2030.

    “They also committed to leaving no one behind. The promise of these world leaders was codified in the 17 Sustainable Development Goals known as the SDGs.”

    Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, known as DJ Cuppy, is not just a musician and entrepreneur with a rapidly increasing empire; she also has a heart of gold. Cuppy, in her contribution to the society, recently donated N5 million to support the Kreative Arts Foundation for Youths (KAFFY).

    The donation had five children from Imagneto Dance Company as benefactors.

    The foundation, an initiative of dancer Kaffy, is a non-profit organisation that seeks support from talented people in various creative fields, such as dance, hair styling, music, fashion designing and others.

    Posting the picture of DJ Cuppy’s visit, the dancer wrote: “We move to make life better cuz it makes us feel fulfilled and happy.”

    Embarking on the new course, Kaffy said: “So I realised that I have worked with a lot of talented people in the past decade and one problem seems not to go away, a lot do not know how to function properly under structure. Professionalism, ethical conduct and value adding isn’t something very common.

    “So, I decided to establish a foundation that can help young people bridge this gap. This non-profit organisation seeks talented people in various creative fields as dance, hair styling, music, fashion designing, etc. and through the help of donors, they will get proper training, education and exposure before they are put in the labour market.

    “The foundation is called Kreative Arts Foundation for Youths (KAFFY), and our children section just got a donation from @cuppymusic Cuppy (Save the children) foundation to help five of our kids at the @littlemagnets, who are benefactors of the Kaffy Foundation”

    “Thank you soooo much as these kids are supported through school and training centred on their talents.”
