‘Giwa FC has resources to be in NPFL’

Giwa is on the verge of gaining promotion from the Nigeria National League (NNL) Group A to the country’s top flight football league.

“And if those are our objectives, I see no reason why we will get the premiership ticket and then sell it.

“More so, Chris Giwa, the proprietor of the club is one man that has a passion for football.

“I don’t think he will just wake up overnight and think of selling the ticket. By the grace of God, this man is blessed. He has enough resources to prosecute the premiership.

“Apart from that, some people are already approaching us for sponsorship when we get the ticket,’’ the club’s spokesman said.

Giwa FC currently tops Group A of the NNL with 45 points from 26 matches, with three games remaining after the withdrawal of Zamfara United of Gusau from the league.
