    Afrobeats sensation, Joseph Akinwale, popularly known as Joeboy, has made a surprising move by deleting all posts from his verified Instagram page.

    The music star also adopted black profile photos across all his social media platforms.

    A check by our correspondent confirmed that the singer’s Instagram page is now blank, devoid of any posts.

    As of the time of writing this report, Joeboy has not issued a public statement regarding his recent actions.

    Afropop musician, Joseph Akinwale Akinfenwa popularly known as Joeboy has taken to social media to share some of the strange notes he received from fans.

    Each of the four DMs he uploaded on his Twitter profile made highly unusual requests, with two involving money and the other two involving sexual closeness.

    The one that drew the most attention from netizens was someone begging Joeboy for money so that he could become a cyber-fraudster known as Yahoo Boy.

    He particularly requested N500,000 to purchase a laptop and begin the bogus company.

    The message read: “Boss abeg empawa me with 500k. I wan buy laptop do yahoo. Abeg reason me.”

    Sharing the snapshots, Joeboy wrote: “Only God Can Save Me.”

    Singer Joeboy has disclosed that forgiving an offender and letting go of the offence committed against him carries a significant price.

    Appearing on the recent episode of the ‘Zero Conditions Podcast’, the Afropop act confessed to struggling with letting offenders off the hook.

    This, according to him, is a result of his efforts to treat others fairly, adding that when others hurt him in ways he wouldn’t do to them, he takes it personally.

    He said: “It’s hard for me to forgive and forget, I can’t lie. I’m sorry but I’m trying though. I can hold a grudge because one thing I like to do when it comes to relationships with people is to make sure I do everything right.

    “So when someone acts funny with me I take it personally because I’d never do that to you, why are you doing that to me? That’s why I take it personally.”

    He further said he would keep such persons out of his space when he’s eventually able to forgive their misdeed.

    He stated: “I might even forgive but it would take a while though, but if I’d forgive, it’d be very difficult to give the person access again.”

    Joeboy also shared how beneficial his discovery on lowering one’s expectations of others has been while he recalled a crucial piece of advice offered to him by a friend on forgiveness.

    Famous singer, Joseph Akinfenwa aka Joeboy, has said he randomly converses with inanimate objects like plants. 

    The ‘Duffel bag’ crooner disclosed that he has four plants in his room that he communicates with.

    Featuring as a guest in the latest episode of the Zero Conditions podcast, Joeboy said spirituality was “very important.”

    He said: “You need a spiritual backing. It is very very important. If you don’t do jazz, you have to pray”.

    Reacting to why he has tattoos of trees, Joeboy said he is a lover of nature.

    He said: “Personally, I like nature. I like plants. I have like four plants in my room.

    “I named them Anthony, Themal, Raphael and Vanessa. And I actually talk to them. I just tell them how I feel. I think it’s better to talk to plants sometimes than to talk to human beings.”
