    Just like Portable and Charles Okocha, the two settled their differences with a fight and videos captured the moment the actresses engaged in a scuffle.

    Chizzy Alichi emerged the winner of the fight after beating Laide Bakare to a pulp.

    Extending love to Laide via her Instagram page, Chizzy recalled her promise to give her a champagne.

    Actress Laide Bakare has opened up on her reservations to taking up romantic roles that involve kissing and touching sensitive parts of the body.

    Bakare, in an interview with PUNCH, said kissing on set is quite a task for her, especially when the cast has to balance the script’s demands.

    She said: “Portraying romantic roles, especially scenes involving kissing and touching, pose unique challenges for me. Navigating the authenticity required for such moments while maintaining professionalism can be intricate.

    “Balancing the demands of the script with personal comfort adds complexity to these roles, requiring a nuanced approach to ensure a convincing, yet respectful performance.”

    Speaking about her challenges, Laide said it has been difficult navigating relationships and finding true love, adding that many people are more focused on her job as an actress rather than her personality.

    She said: “As an actress and filmmaker, my primary challenge has to do with navigating relationships and finding true love. Sometimes, people are attracted to my status and my profession, rather than the essence of who I am. Distinguishing genuine connections from those based on fame then becomes a delicate task.”

    “I have known that negativity works around famous people. I knew this since I was still very young, between the ages of 18 and 21. I know that they need you to earn money and it’s all about the bad story about you. So, I don’t feel bad about it because they are doing their job.

    “When I was 21, someone told me that a guy was digging for my scandal story in every way possible just because he wanted to interview me and I was busy. But things actually start falling in place for you when they are dragging you. Sometimes it seems like a blessing in disguise.”

    Actress Laide Bakare has said she would return the energy of a cheating partner. 

    According to her, she would cheat on her husband if she finds out that he is cheating on her.

    Speaking of handling the situation, she advised women not to get separated from their partners because of infidelity, saying instead they should equally cheat.

    She claimed that “all men cheat,” stressing that leaving a cheating man isn’t a wise decision.

    Speaking in a recent interview with Oyinmomo TV, Bakare said: “All men cheat. I am 100 per cent sure. Is there a man who doesn’t cheat?

    “I will say women shouldn’t leave their partners for cheating, but they can cheat too. You don’t have to pack out but you can also cheat. But you have to do it with all level of maturity.

    Recall that Laide Bakare announced her third marriage last year after two previous failed marriages.

    Popular Nollywood actress Laide Bakare is in a mourning state as she announces the passing of her grandmother.

    Taking to her Instagram page, she shared photos of her late grandmother and conveyed the news that their family’s matriarch had left this world.

    She stated that though her heart is heavy, her soul is strong because she knows she is at peace now.

    She added that now she understands that no matter the age, it’s still so hard to say goodbye.

    Laide said: “My heart is heavy but my soul is strong for I know my grandma is at peace now. Our family lost a Matriarch but heaven gained an Angel. May your soul rest in perfect peace Mommy Agba. Now I understand no matter the Age, it’s still so hard to say goodbye.”

    In another post, she expressed gratitude for the condolence messages received and reflected on her grandmother’s fulfilled role on earth.

    Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has been delivered of a baby boy.

    The Yoruba language thespian, who broke the news via her Black Berry Messenger (BBM) said the child arrived last Tuesday, at 4:30pm, New York time.

    “Yes… yes it’s a boy! My boy arrived at exactly 4:30pm American time in New York on Tuesday, nice weather. I am the happiest person in the world. Araye ebami dupe. Ire akari Insha Allahu. Kisses to you all,” she wrote.

    Although the actress had a child from her previous marriage, this is the second child she is having with her current husband, Alhaji Orilowo.

    The actress had been in America for a while in preparation for the ‘big day’, with a baby shower and birthday celebrations which held at Festac Grill Lounge, Brooklyn, on October 10.

The businessman has since gone to court to challenge the forfeiture.
