Reality star, Mercy Eke has asserted that she will never get married if she had a child out of wedlock.

Eke, who disclosed that she is under pressure from her mother to get married, said she had contemplated having a baby through surrogacy in the past.

She disclosed this in a recent interview with media personality Hero Daniels.

She said: “I had said that I was gonna buy a baby. Not like buying a baby. Just get someone, take my eggs, get someone to be a sperm donor, hire a surrogate, and have a beautiful baby.

“That is what I was thinking because [of] my mum and her village people. She’s always going from one traditional wedding to another. You know, when you had gone to one thousand traditional weddings, they are now asking, ‘When is your daughter doing her own?’ I said, ‘Mummy, nobody should pressure me o!’

“So, I was like I could just have a baby. Happiness is happiness anywhere you find it. If you wanna give birth, you wanna get it elsewhere. That’s why I love Westerners. They just do what they like. Unlike where people would want you to be a certain way. But right now, I love that people, especially women, are doing what they like, however they deem fit.

“Now, that marriage sef. It’s like I go just carry belle, born, and rest. And, once I have a baby outside of marriage, I am not getting married again. Because the kind of love I will give to that baby, I will not love any man again. All my love, I will give it to my baby. So, I’ve only one relationship left in me.”

Mercy Eke, a former winner of the Big Brother Naija reality show, was overcome with emotion and shed tears as she expressed her distress over the overwhelming negativity directed towards her during and after the show.

She mentioned that the primary source of her support comes from her dedicated fan base.

The Imo-born influencer conveyed these feelings during an interview with media personality Hero Daniels.

She stressed that during the All Stars show there had been two previous winners but it was as if hers had become a crime.

Mercy Eke said that the only crime she had committed was wanting more, but that it wasn’t such a bad thing.

She revealed that while she was on the show, the only support she received was from her fans who voted to keep her in the house till the final day.

Mercy also lauded their continued show of love even after she had left the house.

It would be recalled that she was given five million naira and other items by her fans.

She said: “The only crime I committed was wanting more. Remember we had another winner in the house and the energy I got was different both inside and outside the house. The only support I had was from my fans.”

Popular reality star and BBNaija ‘All Stars’ runner-up, Mercy Eke has won herself a sum of N100,000 for being the ‘Queen of Diary Session’. 

The BBNaija star was awarded the title after the just concluded edition of the show.

The smartphone manufacturer, Tecno, which was one of the main sponsors of the show, gave the sum of money to Mercy Eke.

They took to their social media page to congratulate her for winning the cash prize.

Rhe cheque was given to Mercy Eke’s recent love interest, Pere, to give to her.

An image shared on their page shows Pere holding the lifesize cheque and posing for the camera.

They wrote: “A Queen Congrats @real_mercyeke #BBNxTECNO #BBNaijaxTECNO #BBNaijaAllStars”.

Mercy Eke took to her page to react with thanks to the phone brand and Pere Egbi.

She wrote: “Thank you so much @TECNOMobileNG. Thank you the General @PereEgbi”.

BBNaijaAllStars housemate Mercy Eke has explained why she former an alliance with former colleague Whitemoney while the show was on.

According to her, whatever connection she shared with the BBNaija ‘Shine Ya Eye’ winner during the recently concluded All Stars show was basically to gather votes.

She clearly noted that the 31-year-old ‘Otamiemie master’ was ‘used for votes.’

During their time in Biggie’s house, the two engaged in several interactions, including ‘romantic’ displays that sparked dating rumours.

In her post-show conversation firstly with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Mercy clarified her alliance was purely a strategy and nothing more.

She also claimed she tried as much as possible not to give Whitemoney false hope while strategising and playing her game.

With the latest interview clip, the BBNaija ‘Pepper Dem’ winner reaffirmed Whitemoney was just a means to an end for her as regards securing votes on the show.

Former Big Brother Naija All Stars housemate, Pere Egbi has opened up about what endeared him to Mercy Eke. 

Pere made the disclosure on Monday during his interview with former Big Brother Titans contestant, Miracle OP, on Sabi Radio.

He stated Mercy’s dedication to God played a pivotal role in forging a connection between them.

He further explained that he observed that Mercy always read her Bible while they were in Biggie’s house and this left a lasting impression on him.

“On her bed was a small bible; that night, I took a peak in the blue room and she was reading the bible. When you see Mercy, you won’t think she’s the type of person who is that spiritual with God. And every time, you see her praying every day,” he said 

Pere found solace in Mercy Eke towards the end of the show.

Reality TV star, Pere Egbi has satiated ‘shippers’ with some pleasant news, dousing every doubt about his feelings and intentions for newfound love, Mercy Eke.

He said Lambo played a remarkable role, brightening up his life during his dark moments in Biggie’s house.

For BBNaija All Stars finalists fondly referred to shippers as ‘Percy’ suddenly sparked up romance towards the end of the show when many least expected.

The viewers no doubt have missed their enviable-cum-rapidly blossoming affection for each other, which kept them glued to their their TV screens day and night with the conclusion of the show.

As the days go by, Pere as with Mercy have made it known that they’re already in a ‘ship’ a love one for that matter and are ready to see it to the end; hopefully a happy one.

In a recent interview with Glory Elijah on “Frankly Speaking”, the General admitted; “We’re getting to know ourselves, understand ourselves. I’ll say that it’s going somewhere, for sure.

“At the time when it was dark, she brought a lot of light. Trust me; she did.”

Big Brother Naija All Stars contestant Mercy Eke has opened up on how she was on the verge of taking a voluntary exit from the reality show on five different occasions. 

Mercy said this three days after the conclusion of the reality show, where Ilebaye emerged as the winner.

The reality star during her diary session while in the house tearfully requested a voluntary exit from the show following her altercation with Alex.

Speaking about her time in the house and her contemplation of voluntary exit, the reality star in an Instagram live video, also appreciated her fans for their love and support.

“It was not easy at all. Do you know when you are feeling something is wrong and you can sense it?

“I contemplated taking a voluntary exit over five times. I said I was leaving. I could feel things, but I persevered, and I made it to the end and to the top. Thank you, guys,” she said.

Big Brother Naija All-Stars housemate Mercy Eke has taken upon herself to be in the in-house motivator as she walks up to Pere who seemed down with a ray of hope while in anticipation for the grand finale of the show. 

On a Thursday evening, with the pressure and anticipation of the show’s conclusion mounting, Mercy Eke approached Pere, who appeared to be battling doubts and tension.

Sensing his apprehension, Mercy wasted no time in offering words of affirmation and motivation to bolster Pere’s mental well-being.

In a moment that showcased the compassion and solidarity among the contestants, Mercy encouraged Pere to disembark from his fearful thoughts and fill his mind with positivity.

She reminded him of his worth and urged him not to settle for being anyone’s second choice.

Mercy’s romantic and empowering words had a visible impact on Pere, as a smile slowly crept across his face.

“You’re the prize, and I want you to see yourself like that. Don’t ever allow yourself to be a 2nd option. Have you seen yourself today?” Mercy said.
