    Mohbad’s Canadian visa came out same day he died, says Samklef

    Music producer-cum-singer, Samklef has ‘unravelled’ undisclosed information about the late singer, Mohbad.

    In a recent post where he promised to engage fans in an Instagram Live session later in the day, Samklef claimed the deceased Canadian Visa came out the same day he died.

    The entertainer also suggested that the circumstances surrounding Imole’s death must not to be swept under the carpet.

    He wrote: “Its got deep! Mohbad’s Canada Visa came out this same day he died! Will be going live on my other page!

    “This matter no fit die like this. It’s deeper than what we Dey see. Going live on @samklefmuzik can’t use my main page for life for now.”

    Earlier, Samklef made a post exonerating the Naira Marley who’s been bombarded by many on social media alleging a possible connection with Mohbad’s demise owing to their strained relationship after the deceased severed ties with the Marlian Music record label where he officially kicked off his musical career.

    He urged people to quit making unfounded allegations simply because of the singers’ fall out, adding he was ‘committed to uncovering the truth’ behind Mohbad’s demise.

    He wrote: “The full truth about his death will emerge soon, and it’s more complex than it appears. Naira Marley was not implicated, drugs were not a factor, and it wasn’t a suicide. I’m committed to uncovering the truth.

    “There’s a valuable lesson here: If you’re a public figure and have a falling out with someone, ensure you publicly reconcile to avoid unwarranted judgments.” Samklef noni, the wise tortoise king Solomon of our generation!

    “Let’s refrain from resorting to vigilantism simply because Naira Marley and Mohbad had a falling out.

    “It doesn’t mean we should make unfounded allegations. believe the details surrounding his death will be disclosed soon. I’m committed to promoting the truth on this page.”

    We will investigate MohBad’s death – Police

    The Police have assured it will conduct a thorough inquiry into the death of late artist Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba popularly known as MohBad.

    MohBad, who died on Tuesday, reportedly submitted a petition against Sam Larry few months ago.

    The Police revealed plan to investigate his demise on Thursday in a statement on X (formerly Twitter) while also extending condolences to the family, friends and fans of the deceased.

    The Police said: “We extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and fans of late Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, known as Mohbad, who tragically passed away recently.

    “We understand the concerns surrounding his untimely demise and the various speculations that have arisen.

    “The Nigeria Police Force is committed to a comprehensive investigation into this matter, as the Lagos State Commissioner of Police has been tasked to unravel the circumstances surrounding his death. Rest assured, updates will be provided as investigations unfold.

    “The police have also urged family members or close friends of the late Afrobeats singer who have vital information to contact the Lagos State Commissioner of Police to aid with this investigation.

    “In the meantime, we kindly request that individuals refrain from making statements or engaging in activities that could jeopardize the ongoing investigation. Your trust and support are deeply valued.”

    There has been outrage over the death of Mohbad with some netizens pointing fingers at his former record label, Marlian Records’ owner, Naira Marley as well as Sam Larry.

    This became heated after it was revealed on X that Mohbad alleged that Sam Larry led assault and threat to his life at a music video shoot in a letter dated June 27, 2023.

    The family of the late MohBad was said to have been planning on how to take the properties of the deceased from his wife.

    Recall that the shocking death of the raving artiste struck the internet on Tuesday, September 12, shortly after performing at Ikorodu.

    The cause of his death is still sketchy as some reports claim that he died of ear infections, other reports said that he was killed by juju at Ikorodu.

    A video has, however, popped up online where the relatives of Mohbad were plotting how to take the properties of the artist from his wife and five-month-old child.

    Event promoter and manager, Paul Okoye has advocated for an end to bullying and harassment.

    He made this recommendation while mourning his younger friend, singer MohBad who died on Tuesday, September 12.

    Mohbad’s demise has been characterized by a number of controversies going by emerging conflicting reports.

    Though he was buried on Wednesday, September 13, according to Islamic rites, the online community wished the family had agreed to conduct an autopsy in order to ascertain the cause of death and put paid to most speculations.

    As friends, family members, colleagues, and well-wishers continue to mourn the passing of the once promising songster, Paulo in an Instagram story post, paid tribute to the “Blessed” star.

    He recalled listening to Mohbad lament about his fears alongside the constant harassment and bullying he was subjected to.

    Paulo noted that the people the 27-year-old musical act hung around and lived, unrestrained till his last moment.

    Expressing his grief, the popular show promoter wrote: “I am beyond words. Just now, I was with you in London. You opened up on your fears, harassment, the depression. But you remained resilient, full of life, a shining star and like that; you’re gone.

    “I’m deeply saddened. Rest in eternal peace, Mohbad!!! My friend. #stopbullying #stopharassment.”

    Human Rights and Public Interest Lawyer, Inibehe Effiong, has counseled entertainers on the need to engage attorneys in their dealings.

    According to Effiong, anyone involved in the entertainment industry or any other line of work that does not have legal representation is taking a significant risk that could result in irrevocable damage.

    He insisted his advice has undoubtedly forestalled gnashing of teeth for persons that adhered to it.

    “As an upcoming artist, you should have and retain a lawyer as an integral part of your career.

    “If you’re into entertainment or any business for that matter, and you do not have a lawyer, you’re taking a huge risk that may cost you irreparable loss.

    “This advice has saved lives,” he said.

    Effiong’s admonition came shortly after the death of singer Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, on Tuesday at 27.

    Besides the many controversies surrounding his death, clips of relatives allegedly threatening to take over the deceased’s properties from his wife emerged online

    In one of the recordings taken at Mohbad’s grave site in Ikorodu, several family members can be heard threatening to seize possession of the singer’s property if his wife approached the area.

    Social media users were outraged by the clip as many condemned the men for plotting to take Mohbad’s acquisition from his partner and their son.

    Wunmi, wife of the late popular singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba aka MohBad on Wednesday opened up on the struggles he faced till he passed

    In a post on Instagram, she said the singer was never happy for a day.

    The mother of one claimed that the late artiste was called a junkie so the public could have another perception of him.

    According to Wunmi, the singer who died at 27, always lived with fears, adding his worry doubled after the birth of their five-month-old baby, Liam.

    Wunmi noted that Mohbad wanted her to travel out for safety with their child.

    She wrote on her Instagram story: “This Nigga struggled till death, too many pains, threatening.

    Nigerian Artist Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Alabama aka MohBad‘s album “Blessed” reaches new peak at number one on Apple’s Album chart.

    This news came after the artiste was reported dead on Tuesday.

    The rap album “Blessed” was released on June 30, 2023 containing eight songs, and featuring other musicians such as Zlatan and Bella Shmurda.

    The remains of late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, aka Mohbad have been laid to rest.

    He was buried in Ikorodu, Lagos on Wednesday, September 13, according to Islamic rites.

    The Nation reports that angry youths in Ikorodu obstructed the burial proceedings for singer MohBad.

    MohBad died on Tuesday, September 12, at the age of 27.

    The 27 Club is an informal list consisting mostly of popular musicians, artists, actors, and other celebrities who died at age 27.

    His family in a statement on his official Instagram page on Tuesday night, begged for privacy at this difficult time.
