    MohBad: Actress Esther Nwachukwu defends Naira Marley

    Following the fingers pointed towards Naira Marley for alleged involvement in the death of former Marlian Records signee MohBad, actress Esther Nwachukwu, has risen to his  defense.

    Esther Nwachukwu defended the Marlian Records boss stressing his only offence and crime was signing and helping the deceased when he was a nobody in the industry.

    She also asserted that Naira Marley did not kill Mohbad and Nigerians were taking things to the extreme.

    She expressed that Naira Marley had  normal human issues with Mohbad before his death but that did not mean he was involved in his passing.

    While Naira Marley has been facing a lot of backlash from both celebrities and the public, Esther’s vocal support his a surprising conversation within the entertainment community.

    The controversy surrounding Mohbad’s death has sparked various theories and allegations. 

    While initial reports suggested that Mohbad succumbed to complications from an ear infection, more evidence and videos have fueled suspicions of foul play.

    One such video showed Sam Larry, Naira Marley’s aide, physically assaulting Mohbad, leading many to question the circumstances surrounding his death.

    Before his passing, Mohbad had also openly discussed his strained relationship with Marlian Records, the record label founded by Naira Marley.

    This revelation raised eyebrows and added more fuel to the speculations surrounding his death.

    Naira Marley has reacted to to these allegations and controversies with a statement, expressing his intention to uncover the truth behind Mohbad’s demise.

    He had also referred to Mohbad as a bother stating that he was “shattered and heartbroken” over his passing.

    However, a recent statement from Mohbad’s team contradicts Naira Marley’s claims of a friendly relationship. 

    In the statement, they revealed that they were still owed unpaid royalties they never gave to Mohbad before his death. 

    They had also revealed that Mohbad had initiated legal action against Marlian Records before his tragic passing.

    Mr Joseph Aloba, the father of late singer MohBad has claimed he struggled financially.

    In a trending video, Mr. Aloba discussed his efforts to secure funds from the late singer to purchase building blocks for the only piece of land he owned.

    He said the former Marlian signee never purchased any building material but only the piece of land where he was buried.

    He claimed the late singer struggled and borrowed from thrift collectors to finance his son’s naming ceremony.

    He stated that Mohbad was experiencing significant financial difficulties to the point where he had to rely on thrift contributions, commonly known as ‘Ajo’.

    Popular singer Bella Shmurda has vowed to get justice for his late friend, MohBad.

    Bella Shmurda broke his silence on the death of his friend few days after the demise.

    In a statement on social media app, X, Shmurda, a musician, claimed that Mohbad’s spirit has not allowed him to rest since he died.

    He also called on the police to arrest Marlian Record CEO, Naira Marley, and another of his associates, Sam Larry.

    Shurmda wrote: “In the past few days have tried my best not to carry phone nd type anything.

    “But Mohbad spirit won’t let me rest knowing I’m the only one make his spirit calm, by making those of them who make him live in fear and almost with nothing to feed on never also get rest.

    “Any which way like this war don start. If they all ran out the country which shows that they’re actually guilt of whatever crime were said to have committed by them and they all know they should never come back nd they should ban from entering the country for life.”

    Bella Shmurda, the closest confidant of the late 27-year-old artist Mohbad, has broken his silence after the tragic loss of the young talent. 

    Initially set for a tour in Canada, Bella Shmurda swiftly canceled his tour upon receiving the devastating news of Mohbad’s untimely passing.

    In a heartfelt message shared on his social media platform, Shmurda expressed his determination to break his silence and called upon the Nigerian police to investigate the case thoroughly. 

    He revealed that he had refrained from using social media for days, burdened by the profound grief stemming from the loss of his dear friend.”

    MohBad: Naira Marley finally breaks silence after singer’s death

    Famous Nigerian singer and rapper, Naira Marley, has finally broken his silence for the first time since the passing of his former record label signee, MohBad.

    MohBad’s painful exit struck a chord due to the controversial circumstances that led to his death.

    In a statement posted on his Instagram on Friday, September 15, Naira Marley said he is “heartbroken” by Mohbad’s death, adding that he will “be truly missed.”

    The Marlian Record label boss admitted that although they had “disagreements, no harm whatsoever was wished on Mohbad.”

    Naira Marley also sent condolences to Mohbad’s family, while demanding a thorough investigation into the 27-year-old’s death.

    He wrote: “With heavy hearts, we mourn the loss of an exceptional talent. Someone who was more than an artist or signee but a brother and dear friend Promise” Mohbad” Oladimeji Aloba. We send our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones, we are all heartbroken by his tragic loss, and will be truly missed.

    “From inception we recognized Mohbad was a force to be reckoned with. His music gave so many people love and light. Mohbad touched us all with his heartfelt lyrics, storytelling, infectious smile and energy. The news of his passing has left us with a permanent hole in our hearts.

    “Mohbad is an incredible street pop star who contributed to the foundation of Marlian Music. Despite his departure last year we continually championed his talent. No family is perfect, families have disagreements but no harm whatsoever was wished on Mohbad. So many things left unsaid but the love was always there. This tragedy is not only a loss for us but to everyone you touched musically around the world.

    “As we share our condolences to the late Mohbad, we would like to echo a call for a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death. We’re unhappy and unsettled with everything we have witnessed since Tuesday the 12th Sept. We owe it to Mohbad to assist with uncovering any foul play or injustice. Our brother deserved a better send-off, it saddens us that we couldn’t assist with providing a befitting burial. We will continue our efforts to reach out to the family.

    Following MohBad‘s demise, his team conveyed gratitude for the outpouring of heartfelt condolences and concerns from the public.

    In an official statement on Saturday, September 16, they pledged to collaborate with appropriate authorities to uncover the details surrounding his untimely demise.

    MohBad’s representatives disclosed that prior to his passing, he had taken legal action to recover his catalog and unpaid royalties from Marlian Music.

    They affirmed their commitment to pursuing this cause to regain what is rightfully his.

    They said: “We appreciate the outpouring of love from the General Public following the passing of Mohbad.

    “The circumstances surrounding his death are truly painful and we are open to provide any cooperation necessary to the authorities to carry out any investigations.
