    NiMet predicts cloudy weather conditions for Thursday

    The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted cloudy weather conditions over the central states of the country on Thursday.

    The predictions are contained in the Weather Outlook issued by NiMet’s Central Forecast Office (CFO) on Wednesday in Abuja.

    It added isolated morning thunderstorms would prevail over Yelwa, Minna, Abuja and Lokoja and localised thunderstorms over Lafia, Kaduna, Jos and Bauchi during afternoon and evening hours with temperatures of 25 to 31 degrees Celsius.

    The agency predicted that the southern states would experience increased cloudiness with chances of localised rains over the coastal cities of Port Harcourt, Calabar, Yenagoa and Lagos during the morning hours.

    It also predicted isolated thunderstorms and rain showers over the inland cities of Osogbo, Akure, Ibadan, Enugu and Awka in the afternoon and evening with maximum temperatures of 27 to 30 degrees Celsius.

    NiMet predicted that northern states of would experience cloudy morning with prospects of thunderstorms over Katsina, Kano, Bauchi, Gombe and Yobe during the day and maximum temperatures of 28 to 32 degrees Celsius.

    According to the prediction, there are prospects of weather activities with varying degrees over the entire country in the next 24 hours.

    NiMet predicts thunderstorms, rainy weather for Tuesday

    The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet), has predicted chances of thunderstorm in Abuja, Lafia, Makurdi, Jalingo and Mambila Plateau on Tuesday morning.

    This is contained in the Weather Outlook issued by NiMet’s Central Forecast Office in Abuja on Monday.

    NiMet predicted localised thunderstorms and rains over the region in the afternoon and evening with day time temperatures of 29 degree Celsius to 30 degree Celsius.

    It said that the Northern states would experience chances of thunderstorm over Maiduguri, Potiskum and Dutse in the morning.

    The agency further predicted localised thunderstorms in the region during the afternoon and evening with day time temperatures of 31 degree Celsius to 32 degrees Celsius.

    According to the prediction, there will be prospects of thunderstorms activities within the country in the next 24 hour.

    NiMet predicted that there would be localised rains over Calabar, Obudu, Ogoja and Eket during the morning.

    It said that there would be localised thunderstorms and rains over Akure, Oshogbo, Ibadan, Lagos, Ijebu Ode, Enugu, Awka, Owerri, Port Harcourt, Warri and Calabar in the afternoon and evening

    NiMet predicted that the area would experience day time temperatures of 28 degree Celsius to 29 degrees Celsius.

    The predictions are contained in the Weather Outlook issued by NiMet’s Central Forecast Office (CFO), in Abuja on Wednesday.

    The agency predicted localised thunderstorms and rains over Abuja, Bida, Ilorin and Minna in the afternoon and evening with day time temperatures of 29 degree Celsius to 30 degree Celsius.

    NiMet predicted that the Northern states would experience thunderstorms over Gusau, Katsina, and Kano in the morning with day time temperatures of 31 degree Celsius to 32 degrees Celsius.

    According to the prediction,there will be prospect of rainfall activities rains across the country in the next 24 hour.

    NiMet also predicted that the Southern States would experience chances of rains over Calabar, Ogoja, Enugu, Akwa, Port Harcourt and Eket in the morning.

    It added that Osogbo, Akure and Iseyin would have localised thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening with day time temperatures of 28 to 29 degrees Celsius.

    The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet), has predicted morning rains over Abuja, Lafia, Makurdi, Jalingo, Ibi and Mambilla Plateau on Saturday.

    The predictions are contained in the Weather Outlook issued by NiMet’s Central Forecast Office (CFO), in Abuja on Friday.

    It added that thunderstorms would prevail over Ilorin, Kaduna, Bida, Minna, Suleja and Lokoja in the afternoon and evening with maximum day time temperatures of 24 to 31 degrees Celsius.

    The agency predicted that morning monsoon rains would prevail over the coastal areas of Lagos, Port Harcourt, Calabar, Yenagoa, Eket and Warri and the inland cities of the south-east.

    It also predicted that isolated rains and thunderstorms would prevail over the south-east and south-west in the evening with maximum day time temperatures of 27 to 29 degrees Celsius.

    NiMet further predicted that the northern states would experience partly cloudy to cloudy conditions in the morning with afternoon and evening thunderstorms and day time temperatures of 28 to 32 degrees Celsius.

    The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted cloudy weather conditions over the central states on Friday with chances of morning rain over Jos and Lafia.

    The predictions are contained in the Weather Outlook issued by NiMet’s Central Forecast Office (CFO) in Abuja on Thursday.

    It explained that few thunderstorms would prevail over the high ground areas in the afternoon and evening with maximum day time temperatures of 28 degrees to 33 degrees Celsius.

    The agency predicted that the southern states would experience cloudy condition in the morning with chances of rain showers over Calabar, Eket and Yenegoa.

    It said that there would be chances of isolated thunderstorms over the inland and coastal cities in the evening hours with maximum day time temperatures of 28 degrees to 32 degrees Celsius.

    NiMet also predicted that Northern states of Sokoto, Kano, Nguru, Dutse, Katsina, Maiduguri and Yelwa would experience overnight and morning thunderstorms with maximum day time temperatures of 33 degrees to 34 degrees Celsius.

    According to the prediction, high pressure belt across most parts of the country suggest fair weather condition over the central and the southern cities, especially during the morning hours of Friday.
