    Nigerians will know worth of Headies awards, says Nkechi Blessing amid Grammy turnout

    Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing recently expressed appreciation for the Headies award in light of the disappointment faced by Nigerian artists at the 66th Grammy Awards.

    Despite the absence of prominent Nigerian musicians like Davido, Burna Boy, Tems, Arya Starr, Asake, and Olamide from the winner’s circle at the 2024 Grammy Awards, Blessing took to her Instagram page to emphasize the significance of domestic recognition.

    She asserted that the Headies, a prestigious Nigerian music award, would now be more valued by both Nigerians and Nigerian artists who understand their worth.

    Predicting a future where even global icons like American rapper Jay Z might attend the ceremony in Lagos to accept a Headies award, Nkechi highlighted the importance of any platform that acknowledges hard work and rewards talent, regardless of its scale or international recognition.

    She said: “No award platform is small or not important as long as a group of people come together to acknowledge your hard work and then reward you for that hard work. Take them seriously. Big shout out to Headies. Now Nigerians will know your worth!! Make una dey support una own, Headies sef go nominate Jay Z and Jay Z go fly enter Lagos for Eko Hotel come to collect the award. We sef no small.”

    Actress Nkechi Blessing has warned friends on their comportment around her partner.  

    The screen goddess stated that her friends are not permitted to smile with her man.

    She argued that even though she trusts him to be faithful to her, she doesn’t trust her friends.

    She further added that her friends aren’t allowed to ask her man for help when they get stranded as she noted how a lady stole her friend’s man, got pregnant for him, and even dared her friend to do her worse.

    Nkechi also warned them to stay away from her ex-boyfriends.

    She said: “As my friend ,you aren’t permitted to shine your teeth at my mine. He wouldn’t even answer you. To the point you will now say, you’re stranded, can you please go and spend a night in his house, my sister I no go allow you. I trust my man oo but I no trust the nyash wey you carry.

    Popular Nollywood actress, Nkechi Sunday Blessing has returned all praises to God after surviving accident that almost took her life. 

    Nkechi, on her Instagram, posted a photo wearing a bandage and disclosed that she narrowly escaped a fate similar to what took her mother years ago.

    Gratefully, she shared that God intervened, sparing her life just in time.

    Reflecting on the thin line between life and death, she expressed gratitude for emerging from the recent incident alive and resilient.

    Standing on the altar of God, she sent all arrows of death back to sender as she declared the word of God on her life.

    She said: “There is indeed a thin line between life and death but I stay THANKFUL to GOD that I came out alive and strong, what took my mother in a flash almost happened to me a few days ago, but GOD said NO it’s not your turn….I stand on the altar of God Almighty and say Back to sender to the plan of the devil…cus I Nkechi Blessing Sunday shall not Die but live to declare the good works of the lord.”

    In another post, Nkechi stated that her birthday this year will be extremely special because God gave her a second chance.

    She stated: “My birthday this year February 14th will be too special because God gave me a second chance. He’s indeed a miracle-working GOD Last year my good friends @ceo_titoofficial @bakarezhainab made it very memorable. I am forever Grateful.”
