Delta: Omo-Agege calls for inclusion of political followers in governance

Former Deputy Senate President and 2023 APC governorship candidate in Delta State, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, has called for the inclusion of his political followers in governance, declaring that the party’s future success in the state depends on it.

Omo-Agege spoke at the Delta APC stakeholders’ meeting in Asaba at the weekend, as the party intensified efforts to reposition itself ahead of future electoral battles.

According to him, excluding loyal party members from governance weakens internal cohesion and undermines the APC’s chances of securing decisive victories at both the state and federal levels.

The former lawmaker reminded party leaders that he commands a wide, organic political structure across Delta State, stressing that more than 240,000 voters cast their ballots for him during the 2023 governorship election.

“We have built the APC into a formidable political platform in Delta State, and we remain fully committed to its continued growth,” Omo-Agege said.

Striking a balance between loyalty and firmness, he reaffirmed his commitment to the party while insisting that inclusiveness must be treated as a strategic necessity, not a favour.

“As a faithful party man, I will continue to contribute to our collective progress,” he said.

He acknowledged the governor as the leader of the party in the state, noting that strong, inclusive leadership at the top was essential for party stability and effective governance.

Omo-Agege also pledged to work with the governor and other party leaders, emphasising that service to the people must remain the APC’s central mission.

Political watchers said the remarks underlined growing pressure within the Delta APC for recognition, reward for loyalty, and unity — factors likely to shape the party’s internal dynamics and electoral fortunes in the coming years.

“It is indisputable that as the immediate past governorship candidate of this party, I am privileged to have a huge organic political following in our state, including, as you all know, the over 240,000 delegates who voted for me in the 2023 general elections.

“I have no doubt that our governor, the party’s leader in the state, will take the initiative to ensure the inclusivity of my hundreds of thousands of faithful Die Hard grassroots supporters in the party who made this possible, and remain ready to mobilize for APC.

“This will undoubtedly help our party secure resounding victories in future elections at both the state and federal levels.

“Your Excellency, my philosophy in public governance is simple. Service to the people comes first.

“I will work with everyone, by God’s grace, to lift Delta.

“My support for President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda is firm and enduring. And to our Governor, Sheriff Oborewvori, be assured that with my commitment to a legacy of qualitative governance, I am ready to collaborate with you to strengthen our partnership.”

He appreciated the governor for the decision to personally invite him to the meeting, adding that for the first time in about 18 years, he was setting foot in the government house in Asaba, the venue for the meeting.

Addressing the meeting, Oborewori urged all to place collective interest above personal considerations, resist division and avoid unnecessary conflicts, noting that unity remains the party’s greatest strength.

In his welcome remarks, State APC Chairman, Elder Omeni Sobotie, said the party had recorded over 90 per cent realignment since April 2025, describing the gathering as evidence of growing unity and momentum.

The high-level meeting underscored unity, e-registration, grassroots mobilisation, and preparedness ahead of forthcoming party congresses.

Omo-Agege urges Oborevwori to embrace inclusive leadership, prioritise good governance

Former Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege, has called on Delta Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to embrace inclusive leadership and prioritise good governance as key strategies for consolidating the gains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Omo-Agege made the call on Friday while delivering remarks at the Delta APC stakeholders’ meeting at the Banquet Hall, Government House, Asaba, stressing that unity, inclusivity, and people-oriented governance were critical to securing a “resounding victory” for the party in future elections.

It was Omo-Agege’s first attendance at a Delta State APC stakeholders’ meeting since Governor Oborevwori defected to the APC, and his first visit to the Government House, Asaba, in almost 19 years, marking a significant moment in the party’s efforts to solidify its presence in the state.

Speaking directly to the Governor, the former gubernatorial candidate emphasised the importance of carrying along his supporters who mobilised for the party in the 2023 general elections.

“As the Leader of the party in the State, Mr Governor’s leadership is critical to the collective progress of the party and good governance in the State,” Omo-Agege said.

“As a firm believer in service to our people, I am ready to work with the Governor and other leaders to ensure this party thrives and delivers bold and sustainable benefits to our people.”

He reminded stakeholders of his extensive political following across Delta State, noting that over 240,000 Deltans voted for him in the 2023 governorship election, a support base he described as vital to the APC’s future electoral fortunes.

“It is indisputable that as the immediate past governorship candidate of this party, I am privileged to have a huge organic political following in our state,” he said.

“I have no doubt that our Governor, as the party’s leader in the State, will take the initiative to ensure the inclusivity of my hundreds of thousands of faithful, diehard grassroots supporters in the party who made this possible and remain ready to mobilise for APC.”

According to him, such inclusivity would “undoubtedly help our party secure resounding victories in future elections at both state and federal levels.”

Omo-Agege also commended Oborevwori for personally inviting him to the stakeholders’ meeting, describing the engagement as timely and pivotal for the party’s future.

Reaffirming his loyalty to the APC, the former lawmaker said the party had grown into a formidable platform in Delta State and pledged his continued commitment to its growth.

“Without question, we have built the APC as a formidable political platform in Delta State, and we remain wholly committed to its continued success,” he said.

“As a faithful party man, I will keep contributing to our collective growth and development.”

On governance, Omo-Agege said his guiding principle remained service to the people, while pledging cooperation with the governor to deliver tangible dividends of democracy.

“My philosophy in public governance is simple: service to the people comes first,” he stated.

“By God’s grace, I will work with everyone to lift up Delta State.”

He also reaffirmed his steadfast support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, while assuring Governor Oborevwori of his readiness to collaborate in strengthening the APC and improving governance in the state.

Murder of APC council chair: Omo-Agege, Dafinone call for ‘killers’ arrest

    …investigations ongoing – Police

Following the brutal murder of the acting chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ethiope-East Local Government Area of Delta State, Felix Ese Idisi, on Sunday, political leaders, including former Deputy Senate President, Obarisi Ovie Omo-Agege and Senator Ede Dafinone (Delta Central representative), have called for the arrest of the suspects.

The incident occurred on Sunday at Okpara-waterside of Ethiope East, throwing their community into shock and mourning.

Though details of the incident remain sketchy, available reports hint that the murder was politically motivated.

Omo-Agege, in a statement, condemned the killing, describing it as a “barbaric act of violence” and an “attack on democracy and the democratic process in Delta State”.

He said, “I am shocked and deeply saddened by the brutal murder of our Acting LGA Chairman in Ethiope East LGA. This act of violence is a stark reminder of the insecurity and lawlessness that have become a menace in our state.

“I condemn this heinous act in the strongest terms and demand that the Commissioner of Police, Delta State, and the Inspector General of Police leave no stone unturned in bringing the perpetrators to justice. The killers who had previously boasted of eliminating their political enemies in the Local Government Area must be arrested, prosecuted, and punished for their crime.

“I must reiterate that killing is not our culture in the Delta APC. Our culture is winning hearts one person at a time. Those who are trying to import this evil act into our body polity in APC must desist immediately, as we will do everything within our power to resist this unacceptable evil culture of violence.

“We will not be intimidated or deterred by acts of violence and lawlessness. We will continue to work towards building a peaceful and democratic society where the rule of law is supreme,” he stated.

Similarly, Dafinone, while demanding the immediate launch of “a full-scale, transparent, and uncompromising investigation into this heinous crime,” described the incident as “brutal, horrific, and a devastating loss to his family, our party, and Delta State.”

In a statement on Monday, the Delta Central Senator insisted that “those behind the murder of Mr Idisi must be identified, apprehended, and prosecuted without delay. Justice must not only be served—it must be seen to be served.”

He described the late Idisi as “a dedicated party man who served with loyalty, commitment, and an unwavering belief in democracy.”

The senator urged APC members and residents of Ethiope East to support police investigations, remain calm and avoid reprisal attacks, warning that “violence will only deepen our wounds and distract us from the urgent task of ensuring justice for Mr Idisi.”

Meanwhile, the Delta Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, has assured that investigations are ongoing to bring the suspects to book.

2027: APC chieftain warns mischief makers against gagging Omo-Agege

A prominent youth leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC( and Convener of the Coalition For Delta Interest, Comrade Austine Kpedi, has cautioned those he described as “Belle first politicians” against alleged attempts to suppress the political ambition of the immediate past Deputy Senate President Senator Ovie Omo-Agege.

Kpedi, who served as a political aide to Senator Omo-Agege in the 9th Senate, made this known while reacting to what he called “unprovoked and coordinated attacks” allegedly sponsored through social and print media, urging Omo-Agege to drop his 2027 governorship ambition.

According to him, Omo-Agege is not only constitutionally empowered to aspire to any elective position, but also stands out in terms of competence, experience, and vision.

“Aside from the fact that His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, CFR, has the backing of the Nigerian Constitution to express interest in any elective office, he is more qualified by his governance and legislative experience. He has superior knowledge of party structures, enjoys a deeply committed support base despite being out of office, has a well-defined policy vision for Delta State, and has strategically positioned himself for the 2027 contest without being intimidated by the over-hyping of incumbent influence,”  Kpedi stated.

Emphasising Omo-Agege’s courage and leadership qualities, Kpedi predicted his victory in the coming polls, citing a local proverb from Udu Kingdom: “Avwe esan vwo dje Ighwre”—translated to mean “you don’t compare six with seven.”

“Omo-Agege is coming into Government House in 2027 to redefine governance in Delta State. He has proven his capacity in his past political roles and possesses the courage and aura befitting a Governor,” he added.

On the issue of the APC governorship ticket, Kpedi dismissed claims of automatic endorsement for the incumbent, stressing that every aspirant, including Governor Oborevwori must pass through a free and fair primary. “The party leadership never promised automatic tickets to new entrants.

“While we acknowledge the Governor as leader of the party in Delta State by virtue of his office, this does not translate into an automatic ticket for 2027. Even the President, who is the National Leader of the party, will go through the primary process for his return ticket. Who then should be exempted? Deltans are massively calling on Senator Ovie Omo-Agege to lead them as Governor in 2027?” Kpedi added.

Ganduje, Okpebholo, Omo-Agege, others welcome DUG members to APC

The defection of members of a Delta State-based political pressure group, the Delta Unity Group (DUG), in their large numbers to the All Progressives Congress (APC), attracted the party’s National Chairman, Dr. Umar Ganduje, Edo Governor Monday Okpebholo and a host of party bigwigs, including the immediate past Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege and Senator Ned Nwoko (APC Delta North).

Others were Hon. Eriatake Ibori-Suenu, representing Ethiope Federal Constituency and Chairman, House Committee on NDDC, APC National Publicity Secretary, Barr. Felix Morka, Chairman of the Governing Board of the NDDC, Hon. Chiedu Ebie, among others.

In an electrifying atmosphere at former Bendel Hotel field, Agbor, Delta State on Saturday, the defection, tagged: “official reception of DUG members to the APC”, saw members of the popular political group in Ika Federal Constituency, move en masse to the APC.

Ganduje, who addressed a mammoth crowd before presenting the broom, the symbol of the party, to the Coordinator of the DUG in Ika Federal Constituency, Hon. Fred Ofume, said : “Let me first of all, convey the greetings and warm wishes of President Bola Tinubu to the people of Delta State. I was encouraged to be physically present because the DUG are great fighters for democracy.”

“I’m happy that the large number of people  joining the APC today are using the DUG as a vehicle”, Ganduje said, declaring that “this vehicle will lead to Delta State Government House come next election in 2027. The 60 per cent of followers from the PDP who have now joined the APC in Delta State have convinced us that Delta State will become an APC state in 2027.”

Ganduje, who recalled memorable days in Agbor as a member of the NYSC in 1975, thanked the DUG members for joining the party, saying “we have taken over in Delta and this is going to be permanent.”

Okpebholo said: “It has happened in Edo and it will also happen in Delta come 2027 when APC will take over. This is necessary so that the people can witness light. President Tinubu is doing well for the nation and we have started a new narrative in Edo which will come to Delta. We said APC is possible in Edo and so also it is possible in Delta State.”

Omo-Agege stated that around 60 per cent of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members in Delta State have moved to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

“We were cheated in 2023 but we had won the governorship election. We won two Senatorial districts and today, a third Senator is in our camp. So it is safe to say that Delta is now APC,” he said.

Speaking on the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu, Omo-Agege said: “He has given us reasons to confidently campaign for him, such as the subsidy removal and floatation of the naira, which has now stabilized the exchange rate.”

Senator Ned Nwoko (APC Delta North), stated that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori wants to join the All Progressives Congress (APC), out of desperation to actualize his second term bid, but will not be given the opportunity.

“Tell him to stay where he is. He will be defeated. We don’t want him in APC. The President personally told me that he will deliver Delta to APC,” he stressed.

Ibori-Suenu, in a goodwill message, said: “The DUG family had always been APC at heart. The huge crowd is a signal on what is to come in 2027. Delta will be fully APC and we will take over. We believe in action and the mammoth crowd signifies that.”

She told the DUG members that the party counts on them as those delivering the elections, being the foot soldiers of democracy.

APC National Publicity Secretary, Morka said: “There was a time in this neighbourhood when it was a taboo to be an APC member. We were scorned but never wavered”, adding that “this defection is another commitment to expel the PDP from Delta State. This calls for dedication to a higher purpose, which means we must do better than the PDP.”

The defection was convened by DUG founder and the Chairman of the Governing Board of the NDDC, Hon. Chiedu Ebie, the highlight of which was the official welcoming of the DUG members to the APC and presentation of the party’s symbol by the APC national chairman.

  • Omo-Agege: A pillar of constitutional rectitude in Delta APC

Omo-Agege: A pillar of constitutional rectitude in Delta APC

    • By Prince Efe Duku

All political systems experience conflicts and contestations for their control. By the rational choice theory and as dissected in Gareth Morgan’s seminal work, ‘Interests, Conflict, and Power: Organizations as Political Systems’, these conflicts are sometimes mild or fierce depending on the interests driving them.

Anyhow they come, truly democratic leaders resolve conflicts based on settled rules of law to protect the interests of the people as the ultimate source of political power. Promoting, protecting and enriching rules that preserve the interests of the grassroots is always populist. Herein lies the increasing grassroots appeal of the Deputy President of the 9th Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, CFR in the politics of Delta State.

Obarisi Omo-Agege as today’s issue in Delta’s political landscape stems partly from his first-class service as a legislator. He stands proudly tall as a most resourceful Deputy President of the Senate. Amongst others, midwifing a special legislative establishment framework for the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun; bringing to fruition his innovative vision of the Federal Polytechnic Orogun; and lobbying for the establishment of the University of Medical and Health Sciences, Kwale, put his legacy as a parliamentarian in a unique class.

On human capital development, the Obarisi as an intentional channel for the placement of a huge number of our highly qualified young people in strategic positions in the federal system is another level of patriotic and smart legislative representation. Hopefully, these young professionals will lead someday as champions in the military; petroleum industry; agricultural sector; public regulators and other critically important areas.

Given his sterling record of public governance achievements, there is overwhelming belief that the future beckons on the Obarisi for more. The grassroots specially appreciate him as a visionary with an incisive understanding of the rules-based dynamics of party politics and a trusted chief protector of their stakes.

Like many leaders in the Delta State All Progressives Congress (APC), the Obarisi believes that political interests are best protected by complying with constitutional rules, not arbitrary and extra-constitutional whims and caprices of a few. This thinking is overwhelmingly embraced by the party’s grassroots, thus confirming that the party’s fundamentals are healthy. This itself portends a seismic shift in the political landscape of the state, as shown by the Obarisi’s recent hugely successful engagements with large grassroots crowds of the party across Delta’s 25 local government areas.

Although recent strategic moves by committed grassroot leaders of the Delta APC are rightly revving up its capacity to build on its 2023 gains, reactionary forces serving external interests have been severely jolted, leading to feverish attempts to mainstream fringe disruptions into the functioning of the party. This must fail. While individuals may choose to embrace ‘aluta continua’ tendencies, the sanctity and due functioning of the constitutional architecture of the party must be held sacrosanct and unshakable. Those labouring to use extra- or unconstitutional tactics to control the party to satisfy external interest are already being frustrated by this reality, resulting in daily internal tantrums of hate and insults. These are immature answers to principled rejection of creepy lawlessness and cannot confer respectability. They do not substitute for constitutionality. Let everyone, big or small, simply respect the constitution. No need for any gang up, especially as experience has shown its futility. Going against leaders who preach respect for constitutionality is futile.

Further, Omo-Agege believes that genuine interest in the growth of one’s party should reflect in constructive management of electoral outcome – biter or sweet. Knowing that victory sometimes comes from only marathons, perseverance and restraint are required to stay the course with the party in turbulent times instead of capriciously casting it into the wind where temporary aspirational inflections or setbacks occur. Staying the course strengthens democracy, as it helps to build a culture of resilience and broad respect for electoral outcomes. This is a key lesson from the steady rise of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s to the apex of power as the nation’s Commander-in-Chief despite diverse political setbacks and turbulence. It explains the Obarisi’s exemplary unflinching commitment to the organic development of the Delta APC. For discerning minds, this itself is the source of today’s growing confidence that the party indeed has a date with destiny in the governance of Delta.

Pristinely brilliant, Omo-Agege’s commitment to sound principles resonates with many. He is fearlessly honest; fiercely protective of interests in his care; open to plurality and contestation of ideas; listens to diverse voices, especially critics; manages issues objectively with extraordinary wisdom; and makes sensible sacrifices and compromises for the collective good. For him, sustainable political leadership is earned by demonstrating consistent capacity to influence people, develop the party from the grassroots, and positively impact society. So, to him, to be trusted, political leaders should be connected to the grassroots. Artificial conclave leadership arrangements not grounded in the party’s grassroots or constitution are unsustainable.

Obarisi Omo-Agege’s capacity to stand firm against those who mistake pragmatic concessions for weakness is well-known, yet Job’s patience guides him. So, he would typically counsel that, “No matter how complex the issues may be, fighting within our party without restraint is unwise.” Knowing human frailties, his goal is winning with dependable allies, including reformed opponents. But the minimum for him is adherence to constitutional rules. No matter how fanciful, ideas violating the party’s constitution are unhelpful. Backyards tactics never work well. This position is right and of a populist flair. There is no need to fight him for this. Fighting people who want respect for rules is never right.

At the heart of Nyesome Wike’s popular ‘Enye Ndi Eba, Enye Ndi Eba’ musical joke lies an important message of mutual respect. Nothing guarantees mutual respect in a party better than full commitment to respecting its constitution. Any conspiracy to usurp the rights, privileges and powers of the grassroots must be stopped by principled leaders who value the grassroots. This sums up the populist stance of the Most Distinguished Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, CFR in the Delta APC, and it is overwhelmingly supported by the party’s grassroots leaders and members.

Tinubu’s economic policies making progress, boosting states’ finances – Omo-Agege

…demands accountability from Oborevwori on allocations

Immediate past deputy president of the Senate, Ovie Omo-Agege, has said the economic policies and other actions taken by the administration of President Bola Tinubu have provided a significant financial boost for states.

He disclosed this at an interactive leaders and stakeholders’ meeting in Warri South-West, Isoko South, and Isoko North Local Government Areas, commending President Tinubu for his unwavering commitment to transforming the Nigerian economy.

Omo-Agege, the 2023 Delta All Progressives Congress governorship candidate, noted that the initial difficulties experienced during the policy implementation phase are now giving way to economic benefits, bringing significant advantages to Delta State.

According to him, some of the benefits include increased revenue allocation and investment opportunities in critical sectors, which are ultimately driving growth and development in the region.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has done exceptionally well. Upon closer examination of his administration’s policies and actions, it becomes clear that he has made remarkable progress. One of his notable achievements is the significant financial boost provided to states. In Delta State, the FAAC allocation has tripled compared to the previous amount,” he said.

Omo-Agege revealed that Delta State has received over ₦1 trillion in revenue allocation, a threefold increase from the previous administration.

“Local governments in Delta State, including Warri South-West, Isoko South, and Isoko North, now receive more funds than ever before.

“If the people were aware of the exact amount of money allocated to this area, they would be astonished,” he stated.

Expressing concern that the benefits of these substantial funds are not being felt in Delta State, Senator Omo-Agege demanded accountability from Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.

The former DSP emphasized the need for good governance and accountability, calling on Deltans to support the APC in the 2027 elections to restore good governance in the state.

Omo-Agege urged Deltans to query and demand transparency on the use of federal funds, stating: “If the state has received over ₦1 trillion, where has the money gone?

“Going through Warri South-West, Isoko South, and Isoko North, I am yet to see key development projects where this money was used for. Sadly, many Deltans do not even know that Tinubu’s administration has sent such huge sums to the state.”

Recalling President Tinubu’s campaign visit to Delta State, he said the President was taken aback by the sheer scale of deprivation and underdevelopment in the region, noting that the situation was similar to many other parts of the Niger Delta where crude oil is produced.

He posited: “This experience was one of the driving forces behind his decision to announce the removal of fuel subsidy on his first day in office, thereby freeing up vital resources for state. Despite this significant influx of funds, Sheriff Oborevwori has remained remarkably silent about how these resources are being utilized, particularly in oil-producing communities.

“This money belongs to all of us, not just the government. We must stand up, work hard, and ensure we support the APC fully to restore good governance in Delta come 2027.”

  • Delta 2027: APC will end PDP’s reign, Omo-Agege assures

Delta 2027: APC will end PDP’s reign, Omo-Agege assures

Leveraging President Bola Tinubu’s landmark economic reforms and internal restructuring, as well as widespread discontent with the Oborevwori administration’s failures, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, the former Deputy President of the Senate, has confidently predicted an All Progressives Congress (APC) victory in the 2027 Delta State governorship election.

Speaking at a stakeholders’ meeting in Koko, Warri North, Omo-Agege reflected on the APC’s narrow loss in the 2023 governorship election, vowing to unseat the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the forthcoming election. “We came so close in 2023, but fell short by a whisker,” he said. “However, we’ve learned from our mistakes and are now more determined than ever to win Delta State for the APC.”

Omo-Agege rallied supporters, addressed post-election grievances, and rejected the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)’s declaration of 4,000 votes for APC and 10,000 for PDP in Warri North, alleging systemic rigging by PDP. “Our votes were organic; theirs were products of writing,” he charged, recalling the PDP’s dubious record of delivering 68,000 votes in the area.

Senator Omo-Agege vigorously defended President Tinubu’s economic reforms, highlighting the removal of fuel subsidies and exchange rate unification. While acknowledging the initial hardships, he framed these measures as crucial for Nigeria’s and Delta State’s future development. “Although increased fuel, food, and forex prices cause pain, President Tinubu’s wise decision-making will yield a better future,” Omo-Agege stated. He noted that Delta State now receives more funds, as President Tinubu channels savings to states beyond Abuja. This, he believes, will have a transformative impact, tying the APC’s 2027 prospects to the president’s “Renewed Hope” agenda.

The Delta State APC leader acknowledged strategic mistakes in response to stakeholders’ critiques, including the failure to integrate new members, which led to the alienation of loyalists. “We’ve paid the price for this oversight,” he admitted. “I should have fostered a stronger bond between old and new members. That error had significant consequences.”

He urged PDP members to defect, describing the ruling party as a “sinking ship” on the brink of collapse. While acknowledging that APC faces similar unity challenges, he downplayed internal friction as “growing pains” ahead of 2027. “Post-congress disputes are not unique to us; even the PDP is grappling with internal conflicts,” he argued.

The leader criticized members who boycotted polls due to grievances, labeling it self-sabotage. “Why stay home? Vote first, defend your votes, and then resolve issues. By staying away, we all lose,” he said, lamenting missed opportunities to secure seats in Asaba.

With humility, he acknowledged, “I’m no different from you. I make mistakes.” He pledged inclusive stakeholder engagement, emphasizing that “2027 demands unity. We must put aside divisions between old and new members and work together towards a common goal.”

Reiterating claims of being “robbed” of victory in the 2023 governorship election and Supreme Court ruling, Omo-Agege projected optimism, asserting that Tinubu’s policies would stabilize the economy by 2027, making APC the “natural choice” for voters seeking “democratic dividends.”

Concluding with a rallying cry, Omo-Agege declared, “2027 is our date with destiny. With Tinubu’s vision and achievements and our collective resolve, Delta will flip!” The hall erupted in cheers. However, to make this vision a reality, the APC must swiftly put its own house in order and unite behind its strongest candidate, thereby empowering itself to effectively challenge and dismantle the PDP’s deeply entrenched and powerful rigging machinery.
