Reno Omokri advises men to marry younger ladies for longevity

Controversial social analyst Reno Omokri has kindled debate with his recent advice on age gap in relationships.

He addressed the features that men look at while choosing a life partner.

Reno, in the statement, highlighted the importance of a healthy age difference between monogamous couples.

Omokri began by urging men with a strong libido not to marry women their own age or a few years younger.

He saved his greatest admonition for those considering marrying an older woman.

Omokri’s main claim revolves around the permanency of male libido as opposed to the natural fall of female libido with age.

He stated: “You, as a man, will retain your libido into your eighties and possibly nineties if God spares your life. But women do not retain theirs that long.” This fundamental difference, he argued, could pose challenges in a monogamous marriage when a wife’s libido diminishes, but her husband’s remains robust.

Omokri emphasised the possible repercussions of such an imbalance, such as the desire to seek for intimacy outside of the marriage.

He questioned: “What are you going to do? Start disturbing Unilag girls?”

“If you are a man with a healthy libido, it is risky to marry a woman who is of the same age as you. It is also risky, but less so, to marry a woman who is just a few years younger than you. However, IF you plan on a monogamous marriage, then it will be disastrous to marry a lady who is older than you. If you both agree that you can be polygamous, then it is not a problem. You say you are in love? Listen, love cannot control your libido. You, as a man will retain your libido into your eighties and possibly nineties if God spares your life. But women do not retain theirs that long. I do not think it is fair.

“But gender libido imbalance is a fact of life. So, if you marry a woman who is your age mate or older than you, and she loses her libido after menopause, but you retain yours, what are you going to do? Start disturbing Unilag girls? That is why there should be a healthy age gap between husband and wife for a viable marriage,” he said.

  • No military will seize power, hand over to your preferred candidate – Omokri

No military will seize power, hand over to your preferred candidate – Omokri

Former President Goodluck Jonathan‘s media aide Reno Omokri has assured those anticipating military intervention in the nation would be disappointed.

He said contrary to their ‘expectations’, no military would seize power only to hand it over to the aggrieved opposition principal, party and their supporters.

Omokri’s reaction was elicited following the whispers and some daring insinuation by some opposition supporters presumably itchy for a coup.

In less than two months, the African continent has witnessed two nations, Niger and Gabon being overtaken by military junta.

Niger’s democratically elected president, Mohamed Bazoum, was ousted by the Presidential Guard, where he and his family were detained and the constitution dissolved

Similarly, in the early hours of Wednesday, August 30, the military seize power in Gabon, overturning the results of the Saturday election that returned the incumbent, President Ali Bongo Ondimba, to a third seven-year term in office.

The officers detained Bongo in his residence, announced the dissolution of all state institutions and borders closure till further notice.

In the wake of the Gabon coup, supporters of the opposition parties on media began coveting the same fate for Nigeria.

Besides highlighting their actions as a reasonable offense, Omokri went on to assure these group of individuals that they not be alive to witness that prosperous and free country they so desire, one which the military were certainly not capable of actualising should their lives be spared somehow.

The social media commentator further detailed the cons of having a military junta, how badly lives, economy would be affected.

Even much worse he noted the people would lose their freedom to complain and protest because if they dared, they’d be killed.

He urged culpable persons to overhaul their thinking faculty on the matter and while faulting the ability of Black Africans to exhaustively anticipate consequences he insisted if this ever occurred, their ‘messaic’ principal would bolt abroad; leaving them behind to bear the brunt of their ill-fated desire.

He tweeted: “Sometimes, I think we Black Africans do not project too much into the future and are often caught up in the heat of the moment. Our ability to anticipate consequences is not as it ought to be. If not, how can you expect a soldier who seizes power and rules (not governs) without any form of checks and balances, or rule of law will provide a more prosperous and free country for you than the elected civilian that you have issues with?

“Look at Niger, Burkina Faso, and Mali. Their economic and security situation has worsened. They have some of the worst inflation in the world, and their citizens are facing severe deprivations.

“But you will not hear about it because there is no free press, and the Internet and social media are tightly controlled and censored. And when the World Bank releases economic data, you will say it is a Western conspiracy.

“And then, because your preferred candidate did not win the #NigerianElections2023, you are calling for a coup in Nigeria.

“Just so you are aware, let me clue you in on what will happen under a military dictatorship.

“•Anybody calling for secession or Biafra will be shot at sight or arrested and summarily tried before being executed.

“•Nnamdi Kanu may suffer the same fate as Ken Saro Wiwa.

“•Those criticising the government on social media will be treated as social nuisances and be jailed. Social media will be shut down indefinitely.

“•Foreign Direct Investment will dry up, and unemployment and poverty will rise.

“•Relations with the West will sour, and it will be easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for Nigerians to get visas. No more japa to Japan.

“•Any social unrest, like #EndSARS, or civil action like #AllEyesOnTheJudiciary will be brutally crushed.

“•Television and radio stations, along with newspapers, will be shut down if they dare criticise the administration as harshly as they currently do.

“•The price of food, fuel and electricity will be increased due to sanctions, and there will be nothing you can do about it. You riot, and you die. Simple.

“So, please don’t be seduced into thinking that the army will seize power and hand it over to your preferred candidate. That will not even happen in the most badly scripted Nollywood movie!

“In fact, Okwute will disappear to London. That is if they don’t detain him at Heathrow! #TableShaker.”

Kumuyi’s voice stronger, louder than Obi’s tiny voice, Omokri blasts critic

Reno Omokri, a former presidential aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has replied to a social media critic who said Kumuyi’s speech sounds like someone who is sleeping.

The Nation had reported that the General Overseer of Deeper Life Church, Pastor Williams Kumuyi charged Nigerians to be hopeful that God would rebuild the country through President Bola Tinubu.

However, many social media users, especially ‘Obidients’ criticised the renowned man of God for his optimism in Tinubu’s government.

A social media user Malachy said: “His speech sounds like someone that’s sleeping.” adding a laughing emoji to his post.

But Reno Omokri in a reply to Malachy, said Pastor Kumuyi’s voice is stronger, more robust and louder than Peter Obi’s voice, for which we thank God.

He said: “Thank you for your feedback. You really ought to be careful who you insult. Pastor William Kumuyi is eighty-two years old, yet he still stands for hours and talks eloquently.

“I checked your profile, and you are an Obidient. Peter Obi, who you praise so glowingly on your profile, is sixty-two. Twenty years younger than Pastor Kumuyi.

“Yet, Pastor Kumuyi’s voice is stronger, more robust and louder than Peter Obi’s voice, for which we thank God.

“I pray to God that you, Malachy, would be able to stand and talk deeply for hours at eighty-two, like Pastor Kumuyi, and do the very quiet charitable works he does. In Yeshua’s Name.”
