    Actress Omoni Oboli has announced the upcoming arrival of her first grandchild.

    She shared lovely photos of her son and pregnant daughter-in-law, Marelle, on Instagram, expressing gratitude to God for this beautiful addition to their family.

    According to Omoni, she can’t wait to hold her new grandbaby in her arms with love and affection.

    She praised her daughter-in-law as “the cutest mom to be ever” and asks God to continue blessing their families with joy and beauty.

    According to her: “God is certainly in this story. I’ve become a cry baby besties. Every time I think about the fact that our baby is coming, I cry Can’t wait to hold her in my hands She’ll be the cutest baby ever. My hands are shaking typing this.

    “Who am I that you are so mindful of me Lord? Our families are overjoyed and getting ready to spoil her. My daughter @marelleoboli the cutest mom to be ever @redsuitcasephotography. May God continue to bless us all with only good news and beauty that will make us keep smiling every day.”

    Omoni Oboli: ‘I would have been a surgeon if I hadn’t pursued acting’

    Actress Omoni Oboli has revealed that she would have pursued a career as a surgeon if she hadn’t chosen acting.

    She shared this during a Q&A session with Netflix, where she also discussed intriguing details about herself and her upcoming project, “Òlòtūré: The Journey.”

    During the interview, Oboli revealed that she grew up in the Delta Steel Company area of Delta State, Nigeria.

    She said: “I grew up in Delta Steel Company in Delta State. If I were not an actor, I would definitely be a surgeon”.

    Oboli also showcased her culinary skills, stating that she can cook a wide variety of Nigerian dishes, especially soups like bangs and egusi.

    “I can make so many Nigerian dishes, especially the soups. I can make bangs soup, egusi, you name it I’m your girl.”

    When asked about her favourite Netflix title, she revealed that she would love to be a part of the popular series Bridgerton.

    “If I had to choose another Netflix title to be in, it would definitely be Bridgerton”.

    The actress also shared her favourite thing about being an actress, which is the ability to play multiple roles in one lifetime.

    “My favourite thing about being an actor is that I get to be so many people in just one life. The last thing I watched on Netflix was a limited series called The Anatomy of Scandal.”

    She expressed her excitement about her upcoming project, Òlòtūré: The Journey, describing it as “thrilling”, “tear-jerking”, and “nerve-wracking”.

    If I were to describe the Oloture sequel in three words it would be ‘thrilling’, It would be ‘tear-jerking’, and it would be ‘nerve-wracking’. Audiences should expect to sit at the edge of their seats, and no look away. If you look away, you will miss something amazing,” Oboli concluded.

    She promised that audiences would be on the edge of their seats, and encouraged them to stay glued to their screens when the series is released on June 28, 2024.

    The mother of boys shared a video adorned in a simple brown sweater and black pants with a cross bag to match.

    Omoni Oboli prayed for herself and wrote a long list of affirmations which she urged her fans to say with her. 

    The actress whose first son recently got married wrote: “God is in my story and love is my language. Happy birthday OMoney. The lines will continue to fall for me in pleasant places. Here’s my prayer for you and I today…I am limitless potential, there’s nothing I cannot do!

    ACTRESS and producer Omoni Oboli is happy with the positive feedbacks from fans on her new movie, ‘Love Is A War.’

    The movie was released last month and Omoni could not hide her excitement as she posted on Instagram.

    “I’m a happy woman,” she wrote.

    “I really am! Thank you for all the reviews of #LoveIsWarFilm. I won’t get tired of them. I honestly wish I could post all the reviews.”

    A fan, Aminatabigail, wrote: “Maami am short of words. So there are still great stories like this. What impress me the most is the creating character aspect. You defined the setting used, your 5w and h was there, your pattern was there, specialization of the characters was there, you defined the character goal and purpose, you give the attitude, you give your character a quirk, also house the character, you brought out the fears and weaknesses of the characters and you associate your character with animals.

  • Omoni and I made magical moment in ‘Love is War’ –RMD

    In a promo of ‘Love is War’, a movie scheduled for release in cinemas in September, Nollywood veteran,  Richard Mofe Damijo, has said that he and actress/producer Omoni Oboli made a ‘magical’ connection on set.

    He said this after he posted a behind-the-scene picture starring himself and Omoni on his Instagram account.

    He wrote: “If this kind of Love is War, then I want to be smack in the middle of it. To be honest, we really did make some magical moments in this film. @omonioboli threw it all down and I surprisingly became the shy one. Watch this space for some more magical moments in this movie Love is War, showing nationwide from sept 27th.”

    Reposting, Omoni wrote: “SEXUAL HEALING, LOVE IS WAR is Heating up the cinemas from September 27th. Start spreading the news.”

    Omoni, who is presently in Toronto, Ontario, has hinted that she is working on a new project, in connection with her colleague and friend actress Ufuoma Mcdermott.

    She teasingly wrote:  “Out here working on something MAJOR! You are not ready for this one guys! Unlike anything I’ve ever done before! @ufuomamcdermott shall we tell them?

    NOLLYWOOD actress and producer, Omoni Oboli, is in the season of giving. The mother of three made it known that having been taught that givers never lack, has resorted to the act of her picking randomly to bless those in need of monetary help.

    Though she is yet to reveal how long the monetary assistance will last, she posted on Tuesday on her Instagram handle, one of the lucky winners who have gained from her kind gesture.

    Captioning the post, “I believe God blesses us, so we can be blessings to those around us,” she said.

    “A good woman taught me that givers never lack; so I stay giving and trust me, it works! I give to people around me in real life. Those close to me can testify.   • Omoni Oboli, crew stuck on Third mainland bridge

    Nollywood actress Omoni Oboli who is currently shooting her new movie, Love is War, shared how she and her crew got stuck on the popular Third mainland bridge, Lagos, in the middle of the night while shooting.

    The producer made it known around 3:06am that they were headed back home from set, but had a flat tire.

    “Still stuck on 3rd mainland bridge. We had a flat tire (in short the tire is completely gone) but can’t change the tire because we need a special Lexus L and Key spanner. If you have, pls reach out. We are smack in the middle of 3rd mainland bridge. We have called Lagos State Emergency service and they said they’ll come but…

    “Reach out if you have a towing can or can reach one,” she pleaded.

    To put her fans at rest, the posted at about 7am on the current situation. Saying she was home.

    “It’s around 7am and I’m home guys!!! Praise God! We got a towing van to just tow it to the dealership I use for services. I’m going to take a shower and head right back to set because we have a HUGE shoot day! I’ll try to steal naps in between set ups! I’m exhausted out of my mind but it’s what it is, the show must go on! Thank God for safety, thank you guys for the prayers and love.”

    Love is War, which portrays the actress/producer as a lady politician had her revealing she is passionate about Nigeria and really wish she could serve politically.
