    New record label boss, Michael Adebayo Olayinka, popularly known as Ruger, has communicated he denounces any form of loyalty to “some godfather,” asserting that this year is about himself.

    Ruger’s declaration is coming days after exiting Jonzing World records owned by music executive, D’Prince.

    Announcing his exit from Jonzing World via Instagram on February 6, 2023, Ruger said he was grateful to Jonzing World and D’Prince but it is time for him to take a bet on himself.

    In a new freestyle titled ‘Blownboy’ released under his personal owned Blown Boy Entertainment, the singer officially denounced godfatherism, asserting himself as his new boss.

    “I denounce every loyalty to some godfather, this year I’m about me,” he sang in the freestyle video posted on his YouTube page on Friday.

    Ruger made it known publicly that it was Tunde Ednut that discovered him before handing him over to D’Prince who signed him to the Jonzing World Record in 2021.

    Mavins records music sensation, Ruger has revealed that he doesn’t take long to replace his girlfriends whenever his romantic relationship comes to an end.

    The Jonzing World signee, in a recent podcast with Adesope, said the reason behind this is because he can’t stand being alone without a lady.

    “I don’t like being alone, I can’t lie,” he said during the podcast.

    “I always say I like being with someone whether it’s a relationship, whether it’s just something, I just like being with someone so if we break up today, don’t worry there’s another person filling up that space the next day.     On if he communicates the casual nature of the relationships to his new partners, Rugar said, “I don’t like to tell them but those who I know have a good heart I tell them listen it’s not going to work but ladies are attracted to what is not good for them. They will never accept it but that’s just the truth, they want to change you but it’s not possible.”

    He said the incident where a female fan sexually assaulted him during a stage performance in Lagos was a painful experience.

    The ‘Snapchat’ crooner stormed out of stage at an event in Lagos last year after he was s3xually assaulted by a female fan while performing.

    Revisiting the incident in a recent interview with Naija FM, Lagos, Ruger said the lady didn’t just grab his manhood but pressed it.

    He said: “The lady didn’t just touch my manhood; she pressed it. It was so painful.

    “It wasn’t s3xy because of the aggressive nature of Nigerian girls. During my international shows, I enjoy ladies serenading me but that Nigerian lady grabbed my manhood aggressively. The way she grabbed it I felt pain in my stomach. I almost cried”.
