Speaking at the occasion, the National Coordinator of SEM, Engr. Funsho Elulade also enjoined all Lagosians to come out enmasse and vote for a greater and better Lagos.

He said his group has been at the forefront of mobilizing grassroots support for the candidature of Mr. Sanwo-Olu from the inception of the campaign to occupy Alausa office come May 2019. Engr. Elulade also expressed his profound appreciation to all members of SEM who took their time to attend the rally.

  • Trade fair traders endorse Buhari, Sanwo-Olu

Traders and artisans at the International Trade Fair in Lagos yesterday held a mega rally to declare their support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential and governorship candidates, President Muhammadu Buhari and Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

The traders, who staged a walk round the market and engaged in voter education, said their support for the APC was as a result of the improvement the market had witnessed under the current administration.

According to them, they were particularly impressed by the leadership style of the Executive Director of the International Trade Fair, Mrs. Lucy Ajayi, an appointee of President Buhari, who they said ensured peace, transparency and accountability in the market.

Among those who participated in the rally were former executive members of the market – Chief Paschal Udeh, Chief Alex Odunukwe, Chief Oscar Odogwu and Comrade Uba Amechi.

At the rally, Udeh said he was supporting the APC because of Mrs. Ajayi’s strides in the market.

The businessman said he and his colleagues had been conducting their businesses without fear of violence since Mrs Ajayi took over.

He said: “I have been in this market for many years and I know how violent it used to be. People used to be scared. There was hardly a day that there wasn’t a fight and bloodshed. But all that has changed since this government came in.

“I do not know President Buhari, but because of the good things Mama Lucy Ajayi has done in this market, I am supporting APC. We have never had it so good. We have had several executive directors in trade fair in the past; they were not accessible. She has been able to achieve this much because she listens and has a good vision.

“They have promised to do more, especially provision of road. I belief they will do it. So, we are calling on our people to vote for Buhari in the presidential and Sanwo-Olu at the governorship elections. We do not want another party to come in and scuttle the good plans already on ground.”

Addressing reporters, Mrs. Ajayi said the people’s support for the APC was a testament of the party’s good governance.

She assured the business community that the current Federal Government would begin the repair of bad roads in the market soon.

“When I came in, I met N44 million. But right now, we have been able to generate over N1 billion into the Federation Account. Not just the Treasury Single Accounts (TSA) but also the Consolidated Account. Before now, we usually had N34 million or N44 million as budget. But right now, over N1 billion was approved because at the budget presentation, I told the lawmakers that I have studied the market and we can generate more money,” said Ajayi.

  • Christians support Sanwo-Olu

Christians in Lagos State have pledged to work for the success of President Muhammadu Buhari and All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, in the coming general election.

The Director of Christian Affairs, Babajide Olushola Sanwo-Olu Campaign Organisation (BOSCO), Dr. Samuel Ogedengbe, who, yesterday, led Christians during a prayer and sensitisation programme to canvass votes for Buhari and Sanwo-Olu, said the two candidates are assured of Christians’ votes.

Ogedengbe, addressing Christian faithful in Oshodi/Isolo Local Government, urged them “to look back and see what our president has done in the last three and a half years, especially the judicious use of resources as well as adding value to people’s well-being.”

He said Lagosians should vote for Sanwo-Olu and his running mate, Obafemi Hamzat.

Ogedengbe said the duo would give people the dividends of democracy.

The Deputy Director of Christian Affairs, BOSCO, Pastor Jerry Gabriel Oluomo, told the people the need to call on God for divine intervention, “hence the gathering of  religious leaders to seek God’s face to hearken to our supplication for the success of all our candidates in the coming elections.”

The Vice Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Mr. Daisi Osho, who represented the Chairman, Muse Ariyoh, stressed the need for all and sundry to work for the success of APC candidates in the general election.

Highlights of the programme included praise and worship, prayers for the peaceful conduct of the elections, prayers for peaceful coexistence in the country and gratitude to God for the survival of Vice- President Yemi Osinbajo in the helicopter crash.

  • How we’ll turn around entertainment industry, by Sanwo-Olu

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has said his administration would be investing “heavily” in creative industry to give talented young people an opportunity to realise their potential. Entertainment and tourism industry, Sanwo-Olu said, is one of key areas his government would focus on for job creation and economic growth.

The APC candidate said he would deploy innovation and modern technology to unlock the potential of entertainment and tourism, adding an investment in creative industry would have direct impact on the economy and discourage restiveness among the youth.

Sanwo-Olu spoke when the 2018 housemates of Big Brother Naija paid him a courtesy visit in his campaign office in Ikoyi.

The APC candidate said his government would build entertainment hubs across the state where young people can hone their skills and promote their talents. Sanwo-Olu also pointed out that his administration would introduce a funding opportunity that would mitigate the risk and marketing challenges for innovative solutions generated by tech start-ups, stressing that young people would be engaged to drive the tourism programmes of his administration.

He said: “We have started a conversation with experienced practitioners in entertainment industry, with an objective to jointly come up with a general entertainment hub where talented young people can hone their skills in theatre, music, dancing and acting. We are looking at how the private sector can partner with us to build an entertainment destination where every Lagosian would be proud of.

“We are doing this to help the practitioners improve their creativity in film production, acting and entertainment generally. We hope this investment and effort would give our young people a new lease of life in terms of upgrading their skilling and turning their skills to something valuable.”

The governorship candidate advised young people to embrace hard work and prepare themselves for opportunities that will help them realise their dreams.

  • Sanwo-Olu to provide 10 new PHCs for riverine areas

The Lagos State All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate, Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu, has said that he will provide 10 new Primary Healthcare Centres (PHCs) for riverine and other underserved areas.

He stated this in an interview with newsmen in Lagos. According to Sanwoolu, the riverine areas of the state are the most neglected areas and he intends to reverse this trend by providing such with necessary health facilities, among others.

“Aside this, I will also ensure that all 37 non-functional primary health care centres in the state are refurbished and adequately equipped, as well as provide a minimum of three doctors, three nurses and five community health workers for each of all 345 primary health care centres (PHCs) by 2021,” he said.

According to Sanwoolu, who spoke along with his deputy, Dr Femi Hamzat, his administration will improve life expectancy by focusing on a comprehensive preventive health care system through optimal primary health care system funded by a mass community-based health insurance programmes.

“The programmes will make healthcare more accessible and affordable right at the door step of every resident,” said Sanwoolu.

He said his administration will further expand the Lagos Health Insurance Scheme with a target of 500,000 households (2.5 million enrolment) by the end of 2019; increase health spending from 6% to 15% of budget in line with the Abuja Declaration; strengthen the primary health care referral system to ease the burden on secondary and tertiary healthcare facilities; provide adequate funding to ensure that healthcare workers at all levels receive required training, among others.

In the water sector, Sanwoolu intends to rehabilitate, within six months, the major, mini and micro water works at Iju, Adiyan 1, Ishashi, Ota Ikosa and all the existing 48 mini and micro water works in the state, thereby encouraging water efficiency.

  • INEC clears Sanwo-Olu, Kashamu, Ogah, others

APC: we’ll field candidates in Rivers, Zamfara

Rivers and Zamfara states All Progressives Congress (APC) will not be part of the governorship and House of Assembly elections slated for March 2.

The party’s candidates’ names are missing on the list of those who will run in the elections released last night by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Two weeks ago, the commission also omitted names of APC candidates in the National Assembly final list of candidates.

Seventy-nine of the candidates are women. Many of them are from Kano and Delta states.

The commission resolved the controversy over the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Ogun State in favour of Senator Buruji Kashamu. The senator and another party chieftain and House of Representatives member, Ladi Adebutu, were battling for the ticket. INEC said it chose Kashamu based on a court judgment.

The commission also resolved the crisis over the APC governorship candidate in Abia State in favour of Uche Ogah, who battled Chief Ikechi Emenike for the ticket.

For Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu is on the list as governorship candidate of the APC. The PDP has Mr Jimi Agbaje as its governorship candidate. The two are seen as the major contenders. Some of the governorship candidates in Oyo State are Adebayo Adelabu (APC), Seyi Makinde (PDP) and Adebayo Alao-Akala (ADP).

First term governors on the list are Umar Ganduje (Kano, APC), Nyesom Wike (PDP, Rivers), Emmanuel Udom (PDP, Akwa Ibom), Ben Ayade (Cross River PDP), Aminu Tambuwal (Sokoto PDP), Samuel Ortom (Benue PDP), Nasir El-Rufai (Kaduna APC), Ifeanyi Okowa (Delta PDP), Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu PDP), Aminu Bello Masari (Katsina APC) and Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia PDP).

Others are Dave Umahi (Ebonyi PDP), Sani Bello (Niger APC), Mohammed Abubakar (Bauchi APC), Ishiaku Darius (Taraba PDP), Abubakar Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi APC), Simon Bako Lalong (Plateau APC) and Bindow Jubrilla (Adamawa APC).

Some other candidates who made the list are: Umaru Ahmadu (Adamawa PDP), Nsima Udo Ekere (Akwa Ibom APC), Udom Emmanuel (Akwa Ibom PDP), Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed (Bauchi PDP), Emmanuel Jime (Benue APC), Baba Gana Umara (Borno APC), Mohammed Alkali Imam (Borno PDP),  Owan Enoh John (Cross River APC), Great Ovedje Ogboru (Delta APC), Sunday Oji Ogbuoji (Ebonyi APC), Ayogu Eze (Enugu APC), Mohammed Inuwa Yahaya (Gombe APC), Nafada Usman Bayero (Gombe PDP) and Uzodinma Hope Odidika (Imo APC).

Also on the list are: Ihedioha Emeka (Imo PDP), Mohammed Badaru Abubakar (Jigawa APC), Aminu Ibrahim Ringim (Jigawa PDP), Isa Mohammad Ashiru (Kaduna PDP), Abba Kabir Yusuf (Kano PDP), Garba Yakubu Lado (Katsina PDP), Isa Mohammed Galadu (Kebbi PDP), Abdulrahman Abbulrazaq (Kwara APC), Razak Atunwa (Kwara PDP),  Umar Mohammed Nasko (Niger PDP), Adedapo Abiodun (Ogun APC), Akinlade Adekunle Abdulkabir (Ogun APM), Nwosu Uche (Imo AA) and Jeremiah Timbut Useni (Plateau PDP).

Governorship elections are not holding in Ondo, Ekiti, Bayelsa, Osun, Edo, Kogi and Anambra states.

The APC yesterday faulted INEC over its decision on Zamfara and Rivers. The APC national secretariat accused INEC of double standards in rejecting its candidates in Zamfara State while accepting those presented to it by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Kano State.

Read also: INEC full list of 2019 candidates

The party expressed confidence that it would present candidates for all elections in Zamafara and Rivers states, as it complied with the provisions of the law and conducted its primaries in the state.

APC National Publicity Secretary Lanre Issa-Onilu told reporters that INEC was being accused by the PDP of working with APC to rig the elections even as it was denying the APC the opportunity to present candidates, despite its compliance with the provisions of its constitution, which says it could either conduct its primaries through direct, indirect or consensus options.

He said: “We have heard that INEC is relying on the fact that courts of equal jurisdiction have given conflicting judgments. We can understand that. What it does mean is that it is not yet Uhuru and we will continue to take steps.

“We are very certain that we did the right thing and the primaries held and INEC is not satisfied with that and the fact that it is our right to field candidates.

“We will follow all the legal means to ensure that all our candidates stand for election this 2019 in Zamfara. The same situation for Rivers.

“For people who are discerning, this is supposed to be the APC that INEC is accused of working for and this is what we are going through in their hand, even though the PDP has repeatedly claimed that it was out to rig election for APC.

“May I remind all of us that we had primaries in Zamfara, which was affected by conflict. But the process allows for three options. You could go with indirect, you could go with direct or you could go for consensus. We have the right under the constitution to exhaust these options, which we did.

“Let me also add that in Kano, PDP did no primary and did not resort to any of these options. Yet, INEC is not saying anything regarding that and all the candidates submitted by the PDP in Kano were accepted. This is a fact that nobody can deny.

“But we will not go to town to start pillorying INEC because it is a critical institution to the success of election. We will continue to trust all institutions because we believe that it is by having strong institutions that we can develop this country. When such institutions make mistakes, rather than vilify them, we will work with them and ensure they follow due process.”

Reacting to reports by Conference of United Political Parties (CUPP) that President Muhamadu Buhari was not fit and healthy to contest the 2019 election, Issa-Onilu said: “Ordinarily, I should not honour the so-called CUPP with any response because in the real sense, they don’t exist. These are members of the PDP, who are looking for space to team up with Atiku as he has promised so that when they get to power, they continue from where they stopped.”

The counsel to the embattled Rivers APC governorship candidate in the state, Tonye Patrick Cole, yesterday at the on-going Appeal Court matter on the disqualification of his client, said INEC should have waited for the Supreme Court before publishing the list.

He said: “INEC cannot release the list of candidates, legally speaking, without the list of APC as submitted by the party.

“As soon as the motion for stay of execution of judgment is served on you, the law is that you do not do anything between the period you are served with that motion, till the period that motion is disposed of, one way or the other.

“INEC has very seasoned lawyers who are not just in their legal team, but also federal commissioners, and I know that they will do the needful and INEC will not do anything until the application for stay is determined somehow.”

  • Sanwo-Olu: I will fight infrastructure battle for Ikorodu

•Flag bearer to develop Ikorodu, Ketu stadia

The Lagos State All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, yesterday promised to fight for infrastructural development in Ikorodu Division, if elected in next month’s election.

Besides Igbe and Isawo roads, which his running mate, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, said will be built when the new government is inaugurated in May, the APC flag bearer said he would also build the popular Suleiman-Farouk Road in the heart of the ancient town, as requested by the residents.

Sanwo-Olu said: “I thank all our supporters. Apart from the two roads, which our deputy said will be constructed, we will also construct the Suleiman Road, which you all like. It will be constructed up to Agboyi-Ketu. You have stadia in Ikorodu and Ketu. They will be completed.”

Chiding the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for claiming that Lagos was in bondage, the APC candidate said Ikorodu and other parts of the state were enjoying freedom and dividends of democracy under successive progressive administrations.

Alerting them to the challenge of February 16 and March 2 polls, Sanwo-Olu urged them to vote for President Muhammadu Buhari, himself and his running mate as well as other candidates of the party.

The APC candiate spoke when the party’s campaign train rolled into Ipadoko, Ikorodu, where the party chairman, Tunde Balogun, gave party flags to Sanwo-Olu, Hamzat and parliamentary candidates – Senator Oluremi Tinubu (Lagos Central), Sikiru Osinnowo (Lagos East), Solomon Adeola (Lagos West), House of Representatives candidate Jimi Benson and House of Assembly candidates Sunai Agunbiade and Tayo Solaja.

Party supporters came from Epe, Isiwo, Ibeshe, Ajowa, Ota-Ikosi, Imota, Ijede, Adamo, Kosofe, Somolu, Ketu, Ikosi, Owode and other towns and villages in Lagos East Senatorial District.

The crowd at the Ikorodu Ferry Jetty Terminal was huge.

The rally, which kicked off around 11.25 a.m, following a prayer by Babatunde Ogele, was orderly.

On stage was ace Fuji musician, King Wasiu Ayinde (aka KI), who was thrilling party supporters to partisan music. Security was tight at the entrance, but party supporters and followers were orderly.

Leaders of ethnic nationalities and many Nollywood actors and actresses, including Remi Surutu, Ayo Adesanya, Taiwo Hassan Ogogo, Mr. Shitta-Bey, Madam saje, Lasun Ray and Adewale Eleso, urged Lagosians to reject the PDP at the polls.

Party leaders at the rally included Deputy Governor Idiat Adebule, Lagos East Leader Pa Busura Alebiosu, Senator Tony Adefuye, Chief Lanre Rasak, Chief Akanni Seriki, Southwest APC Women Leader Chief Kemi Nelson, Lagos APC Women Leader Princess Jumoke Okoya-Thomas, former House of Assembly Speaker Joko Pelumi, Chief Sunny Ajose, Chief Funso Ologunde, Ashipa Kaoli Olusanya, Hakeem Bamgbala, party’s Secretary Dr. Wale Ahmed, Publicity Secretary Joe Igbokwe, Sanwo-Olu’s Campaign Manager Tayo Ayinde, Primate Charles Odugbesi, Tunde Braimoh, Sanwo-Olu’s wife, Dr Ibijoke, Mrs. Yetunde Arobieke and a leader of the Arewa community, Farouk Ahmed.

Sanwo-Olu and Hamzat stormed the venue around 1.30 p.m, holding brooms.

Thanking the crowd, Hamzat, who spoke in Yoruba, said: “Ikorodu-Sagamu Road, which had been abandoned by former President Olusegun Obasanjo and PDP for 16 years is being constructed by President Muhammadu Buhari. Ibese and Obafei Awolowo roads have been constructed. Our candidate, Sanwo-Olu, has asked me to tell you that Igbe and Isawo roads will be constructed. We are not liars. We will fulfil our promises.”

Adebule thanked the people of Ikorodu for trooping out for the rally, assuring that Sanwo-Olu will not disappoint them.

She said: “We are here to preach the gospel of our party. What is the gospel of our party? It is a gospel of growth and development. Sanwo-Olu and Hamzat are tested, trusted, reliable and sellable. They are going to continue to do their best in implementing the developmental agenda of the state; the agenda of infrastructural development and education. I thank you in advance as you vote for the APC.”

Rasak, the Balogun of Epe, advised the people to vote for APC, using their index finger.

He said improper thumb-printing may lead to cancelation of votes.

Urging Lagosians to reject the PDP at the polls, he said: “Lagos has enjoyed dividends of democracy under the progressive administration for 16 years. For 16 years, the PDP looted the treasury. As military and civilian Head of State, Buhari has done well.

“Obasanjo was President for eight years. There was no road between Abeokuta and Ota; there was no road between Lagos and Ibadan. Buhari is the choice of Nigerians because of his love for the masses. I thank Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, who, like Chief Obafemi Awolowo, has worked for the progress of the Southwest and Nigeria. Let us look at the genesis of the APC. Asiwaju Tinubu collaborated with other parties to form the APC. We cannot afford to lag behind. Let Lagos give three million votes for APC during the elections.”

Adefuye, who prayed for the success of APC during the elections, described President Buhari and Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo (SAN) as blessings to Nigeria, adding that they deserve a second term to consolidate on their achievements.

He said: “Presidential and parliamentary elections are important. Lagosians should vote for President Buhari and other parliamentary candidates of our party. Buhari is a President with a difference. He suspended the Chief Justice for a good reason. Under the PDP, a person, a lady stole $20 billion. Should we vote for PDP for people like that to come back? No!

“I am asking you to vote for Sanwo-Olu. As you vote for Sanwo-Olu, also vote for the House of Assembly candidates. Sanwo-Olu needs them to transform Lagos.”

Nelson, the Yeyesewa of Lagos, said: “We are a party of happy people. On February 16, vote for President Buhari and Prof Osinbajo, our son. We should not be put to shame. Buhari cannot work alone. Therefore, you should vote for our senatorial candidates – Osinnowo, Oluremi Tinubu and Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (aka Yayi).”

Aare, a member of the Governorship Advisory Council (GAC), called for bloc votes for the APC presidential, governorship and parliamentary candidates, using the index finger.

Igbokwe, who spoke in Igbo, urged Southeasterners living in Lagos to vote for Sanwo-Olu, assuring that their votes will not be in vain.

Taiwo Hassan (aka Ogogo), the actor, said: “The Noah’s Ark is standing. Please, enter with your votes for the APC.”

  • Sanwo-Olu ‘gets new campaign strategy’

A group, Street Voices, has introduced a new campaign strategy for the All Progressives Congress (APC) Lagos State candidate, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu (BOS).

Tagged: ‘BOS Your Street,’ the initiative is house-to-house street campaign.

According to Street Voices, BOS Your Street is meant to take campaign messages to those scared of coming to campaign rallies.

The group was at the Aguda, Bode Thomas and Bab Animashaun areas of Surulere on Sunday. Another set stormed Amuwo-Odofin, Egbeda, Festac, Abesan Estate in Iyana-Ipaja, Ajegunle, Lekki, Ikoyi, and Obalende.

According to Rasaq Ivori, a Communications strategist, Street Voices is a concept reminiscent of a Voicebank, which collects voices of concerned individuals on several issues affecting their communities.

The voices, he said, would be kept until Babajide Sanwo-Olu assumed office as governor.

The voice owners will form the audience that would engage the governor in a Town Hall Meeting.

At Aguda where The Nation monitored the group’s activities, residents gave them a warm reception.

Campaign fliers and Sanwo-Olu’s branded gifts were distributed to the residents.

Ivori said those who were undecided about who to vote for due to their inability to He said: “BOS Your Street means trying to attract those voters who never come out to campaign ground, who see campaign ground as a violent place where people fight, shoot gun. A lot of well-meaning people, working class, students, run away from campaign ground because of violence, they are always indoor until the final hours, So Sanwo-Olu decided through ‘BOS Your Streets’ to cater for such people.

“BOS Your Street started with adverts on online platforms, Facebook, twitter where they said if you wish to campaign for Sanwo-Olu in your street, all you need to do is to retweet messages shared about Sanwo-Olu by individuals on their handles and walls with their pictures #BOSYOURSTREET and you will be provided with brand items you need to campaign with.

“We reacted to over 7,000 retweets and request for brand items from the people.  We gave them the t-shirts and campaign posters. The requests are going on. The more these people pose pictures and their friends see them, the more others want their streets to be BOSed.”

The initiative, he said, is becoming a street slang “where young people asking each other, ‘have you BOSed your street?’ The idea is that Sanwo-Olu is coming with a beneficial package once he gets in.”

  • Lagos RTEAN holds rally for Buhari, Sanwo-Olu

The Lagos State chapter of the Road Transport Employers’ Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) has declared its support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, President Muhammadu Buhari and the state’s governorship candidate, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

At a rally yesterday on Iyana Iba-Igando road, RTEAN State Chairman Mohammed Musa said the association sided with the ruling party because of its giant strides in transportation and provision of massive road infrastructure.

Musa said RTEAN had been carrying out periodic political enlightenment of its members since last year and had been at the vanguard of the collection of Personal Voter’s Cards (PVCs) by its members through a regular programme, tagged: “Operation Show Your Voter Cards (PVCs)”.

According to him, the union’s executive and members unanimously agreed to support President Buhari and Sanwo-Olu as well as all other APC candidates in the state.

  • Agbaje doesn’t have anything to offer Lagos, says Sanwo-Olu

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has said his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) counterpart, Mr. Jimi Agbaje, lacks basic knowledge and practicable ideas to drive governance in the state.

Sanwo-Olu spoke yesterday on a radio show, 91.3FM’s People’s Parliament, with Jimi Disu.

The APC candidate said Agbaje does not have any meaningful agenda to offer Lagos residents, hence his resort to smear campaign.

In response to a question about Agbaje’s campaign theme on freedom for Lagos, Sanwo-Olu wondered why in 21st century Nigeria, a governorship candidate was building his campaign strategy around freedom.

He stressed that Lagosians were the freest people in the country.

Sanwo-Olu said Lagos enjoyed freedom in every sphere of life, including the economy, enterprise and infrastructure.

The APC flag bearer reminded the listeners that the state had been enjoying economic prosperity in the hands of the All Progressives Congress (APC) since 1999.

“This fellow (Jimi Agbaje) doesn’t just have anything to offer Lagosians. So, the only thing he could think of putting on the table is freedom. Freedom from what? Are we in bondage in Lagos?” Sanwo-Olu asked.

“Do you think it is by magic that Lagos State assumed the enviable position as the fifth largest economy in Africa? No. People worked hard to get the state to this level and they continue to work harder for the state to surpass its current feat. What freedom is anyone talking to us about?” he added.

The APC candidate promised to tackle traffic gridlocks across the state within six months, if elected.

He said his team had identified about 60 traffic points across the state, adding that each one of them had a peculiar solution.

On the environment and waste management, Sanwo-Olu said his government would treat the issue from homes.
