“MOG, you barely knew me, but you walked this journey with me. I was not even a member of your church, but your heart for Christ came first. I will never forget how much you prayed for me during this pregnancy. Every time I called, you answered and prayed with me. I remember that each time I logged in to the prayer channel, there was a word for me, and when my faith wasn’t strong, you stood in the gap. Thank you, Lord, for you are a promise keeper. Every single word that came forth came to pass.

“Today you met Yaya, and it was divine. You flew in today for the conference tonight and still made time to meet with us. Yaya pulled on you from every corner, and you let her have her moment. Thank you for leading by example.

Thank you for meeting with my sisters, Praying over my family and just blessing us today”.

Women cheat more than men – Toke Makinwa

Media personality Toke Makinwa has claimed that women are more likely to cheat than men, arguing that they are simply more discreet about it.

Speaking on a recent episode of her podcast, Toke Moments, Makinwa said women have a greater propensity to cheat because of the relative ease with which they can do so.

She contrasted this with men, whom she described as often committing substantial resources, time and effort when engaging in infidelity.

She said, “Cheating is not a dealbreaker for me but it comes with a caveat. When I say it some people think that I am encouraging cheating. No. As I grow older, I realised that it is not just men who can cheat. Why are we making these men feel so special as if it is only them?

“Do you know how easy it is for a woman to cheat? It is even easier for us. But men will spend money, efforts and time to cheat.

“But we, we are the ones receiving. It is easier for women to cheat. You know, we have work boyfriend. A woman not cheating is not because she cannot cheat, it is probably because she has one thing you lack, restraint.

“Women cheat more, but they know how to hide it.”

Why men are real gold diggers, by Toke Makinwa

Media personality Toke Makinwa has challenged the conventional notion that women are the primary gold diggers in relationships, asserting that men are, the biggest gold diggers.

In an episode of her podcast with Tacha, Makinwa criticised the societal tendency to stigmatise women who marry wealthy men, while men who do the same often escape scrutiny.

According to Makinwa, many men deliberately pursue and marry women from affluent families without facing the same level of criticism.

She noted that men marry generational wealth, and they do it without shame.

“People are constantly always insulting women for knowing what they want.

“You sit with all these podcasts as men, or you air your thoughts as some men and say women are dating men for money, women are doing this. Men are the biggest gold diggers in the world. They marry generational wealth, and they do it without shame,” ”

Makinwa emphasised that her intention was not to vilify men who marry strategically for financial security.

She stressed that marriage has always involved financial considerations on both sides.

“And I don’t hate them. If my brother comes to me with two ladies and asks which one to marry, I will advise him to marry the one from a good financial background,” Makinwa said.

Why I don’t bath my newborn everyday – Toke Makinwa

Media personality Toke Makinwa has addressed new moms on the unconventional approach to bathing a newborn.

In a video message, Makinde disclosed that she doesn’t bath her baby daily, expressing concerns that frequent bathing may be detrimental to the infant’s sensitive skin.

She argued that babies, having spent nine months in the womb, are not inherently dirty and therefore don’t require daily cleansing.

“I know I’m a new mom, and I’m literally just learning as I go, but I really think excessive showering causes skin problems in babies. Babies are not dirty. They’ve been inside the womb for nine months, and inside your womb is not dirty,” she said.

As a first-time mom, she said she is embracing a learning curve, admitting she previously judged her sister for a similar approach with her niece.

However, after observing the positive impact on her niece’s skin health, she decided to adopt a less frequent bathing schedule for her own baby, Yaya.

According to her, she plans to gradually introduce daily baths when Yaya is between four to six-month-old.

Media personality Toke Makinwa has shared an inspiring message to unmarried women and those yet to have children, encouraging them not to let societal pressure define their worth.

After welcoming her first child, a baby girl named Yakira Eliana, at 40, Toke expressed gratitude for God’s timing in her life.

On Instagram, she posted screenshots of negative messages from trolls, acknowledging the criticism women face over marital status and motherhood.

She stressed that marriage and childbearing should not be seen as the sole measures of a woman’s fulfillment.

Toke urged women to focus on personal growth, block out societal noise, and trust God’s plan, sharing that despite past criticism, she has now found joy and fulfillment in motherhood at the right time.

She wrote, “I’m not one to even acknowledge negativity. I’ve built a strong brand off the stones that have constantly been thrown at me over the years, and one thing about God, he loves the people you judge so much. I am only sharing this for anyone out there dealing with contention, delay, shame, and all the cràzy limitations life can sometimes throw your way.

“Funny how no matter how much you rise career-wise as a woman, society still glorifies the things that haven’t happened for you yet. Marriage has become some sort of a yardstick to fulfilment, and if you don’t have a child yet, hmmmmmmm! Very loaded sigh.

“Thank you, Jesus, this one ended in praise. You were not late; you only wanted my heart posture to be right, and I’m thankful for the community of women you’ve given me in this season.

“I know there are ladies who feel they are running out of time; society wants you to believe that you have expired, you might even start to believe it, but you are wrong.

“I am thankful I did not settle, I’m thankful I got to be a mum when I am ready, I am thankful I rejected all these labels, and I am grateful it happened not when I wanted it but when God’s timing was right. It is perfect!

“Do not underestimate the power of negativity. I ran away the whole pregnancy, I became so fearful, and I shut everyone out. Then this word came: “Perfect love drowns out fear”. God is love, he gives good gifts, and it is perfect. I prayed it till my heart believed it.

“The words hurt, but my spirit was not broken. They only reminded God about me, not that he forgot, but they challenged him to shatter the ceiling with this testimony. So here’s my advice to you,

“Hold on, drown out the noise, focus on the Vine, let him do the heavy lifting, celebrate yourself at every stage, you are becoming, and everything good will come. There will be days when it’ll get tough, but the victory is worth it. Congratulations in advance to anyone waiting, it doesn’t have to be a child, whatever you’re waiting on, it’s here”.

“People almost find a way to say it must not have been that bad. Because you didn’t die. And people love those sorts of stories… But if (Chude- an instance) bounces back ten times harder than he used to be, people almost envy your strength. Instead of accepting the fact that, oh, I can learn a thing or two from this, it threatens their peace of mind. … Until you survive what I’ve walked in, don’t comment on it.” she said.

She admitted that she might have stayed in the marriage if it hadn’t been so public.
