Wike backs Edo governor over Peter Obi visit protocol

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and former Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has defended Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, over his directive that Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, must inform the state government before any visit to Edo.

Speaking on Monday during the commissioning of the revitalised Edo Line mass transit system in Benin City, Wike said Okpebholo’s insistence on protocol and security was both appropriate and necessary given the current political climate.

“When I was governor and Obi was campaigning, he would notify me before coming to Rivers State,” Wike stated. “That’s the proper way to do things. If anything happens to him while he’s in the state unannounced, the governor will be held responsible.”

Wike stressed that no responsible governor would overlook the security implications of unscheduled visits by high-profile politicians, especially in sensitive times.

“Some people just like to play politics with everything. What Governor Okpebholo said was correct. He never said Obi shouldn’t come. He only said, ‘Let me know when you’re coming so I can protect you.’ And that is the truth,” Wike said.

Taking a swipe at what he described as “populist politics of pretence,” Wike said the real danger is when political actors manipulate public opinion with theatrics rather than address governance with responsibility.

“This is not a time for carrying food trays or pretending to fly commercial aircraft just to deceive people. Nigerians must start to recognise what real leadership looks like,” he said.

Wike further urged the Edo governor to remain firm in his decisions and ignore those trying to undermine his authority.

“In leadership, people will attack you for doing the right thing. Don’t let that bother you. If no one is talking about you, then you’re not leading. But once you have your people behind you, stand your ground,” Wike charged.

He also warned that in the heat of political seasons, even the most innocent acts could be twisted for propaganda.

“These so-called coalition members, if anything happens, they’ll accuse the governor of plotting it. So, your directive to be informed is both wise and lawful. Anyone who doesn’t understand that is playing politics,” he said.

The FCT Minister described Governor Okpebholo as a quiet achiever whose work in the last eight months had begun to restore Edo’s credibility. According to him, performance, not political noise, was the true test of leadership.

“I identify with people who mean well for their people. The governor is focused. He’s not talking too much, but he’s working. He’s not the type to be distracted by noise,” Wike said.

The event also served as a subtle political reckoning, with Wike publicly expressing regret for backing the previous administration in Edo State.

“In 2020, I led the campaign that gave Edo bad governance. I apologise. But I won’t make that mistake again. What I see now is a governor who’s serious about delivering for his people,” he said.

As the Edo Line buses were commissioned amid fanfare, Wike reiterated his support for the Okpebholo administration, urging the people of Edo to rally behind their governor and ignore detractors.

“You’re doing the right thing. Keep going. Don’t let anyone distract you. Protect your people, protect your mandate, and protect your legacy,” he concluded.

Wike’s aide slams Atiku over exit from PDP

The Senior Special Assistant to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister on Public Communication and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, has slammed former Vice President Atiku Abubakar over his resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), describing the move as “good riddance to bad rubbish.”

Atiku, in a letter dated July 16, 2025, addressed to the chairman of his Jada 1 Ward in Adamawa State, cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for his decision to leave the party he co-founded. He described the move as heartbreaking.

Reacting on Thursday during an appearance on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily, Olayinka said Atiku’s exit presents an opportunity for the PDP to reorganize and heal from within.

“My first reaction was that Atiku leaving the PDP is good riddance to bad rubbish. One thing I would have loved to see in the headlines was: ‘Atiku Abubakar leaves PDP again,’ because he has done this repeatedly since 2007,” he said.

Olayinka further accused Atiku of destabilizing the PDP and alleged that his latest alignment with the African Democratic Congress (ADC)-led opposition coalition was another act of betrayal. He added that Atiku could still return to the PDP if the coalition does not serve his interests.

He said, “In 2003, PDP’s effort to win Lagos State was frustrated by Alhaji Atiku Abubakar when he was Vice-President, and that was how anti-party started in PDP. In 2018, you can Google it. When he went to Lagos, he apologized for the role he played in frustrating the effort of the PDP to win Lagos State in 2003.

“In 2007, Atiku Abubakar held the record of the first Nigerian as vice-president, sitting vice-president, who went to another party, while still holding the mandate of the PDP as vice-president. He went and formed Action Congress with the other people, and he contested as the presidential candidate of Action Congress in 2007, even as a sitting vice-president, holding the mandate of the PDP.

“In 2014, it was the same Atiku Abubakar who led the rebellion that pulled down the PDP, that took the PDP out of power. The only thing that interests Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is to be president of Nigeria, and I begin to wonder, is it that a doctor prescribed presidency to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, so that if you don’t become president, something will happen to you? Because that is the way it is.

“The only thing that is important to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is Atiku and Abubakar. The moment he’s in this party, he cannot get a ticket to contest; he moves to another party. And let me also say this. Write this one down. After this experiment in their coalition, which I call a coalition of confusion, he will still leave their coalition and probably come back to the PDP, as he has been doing”.

Olayinka also faulted Atiku’s release of his resignation letter while the country was still mourning the death of former President Muhammadu Buhari.

He said, “The same Atiku has been in Daura; he could not even wait for the seven-day mourning period of Buhari to end before making a political decision. I don’t understand why somebody would be so desperate to this extent.”

Olayinka advised the PDP to begin putting its house up for the 2027 general election.

He said, “What I believe is that the PDP should now begin to put its house in order. It might not be necessary to make a good showing next year, I mean 2027, because it is very close now”.

Don’t probe Obaseki, Wike counsels Okpebholo

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has urged Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo to focus on developing the state, rather than dissipating energy and resources on probing his predecessor, Godwin Obaseki.

Wike, speaking in Benin, Edo State capital, said probing the former governor would achieve no meaningful results, adding that it was better for Governor Okpebholo to deploy his time and the state resources towards achieving his developmental goals in Edo.

In a statement issued yesterday by his Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, Wike said: “If there is someone who would have encouraged Okpebholo to probe and prosecute Obaseki, that person should be me, but what I suffered in ensuring he returned for a second term and how he paid me back is now in the past.

“We must pass through this process in life; move on for the development of Edo State. Don’t do it, I’m the one that should have told you to pursue this man. I know what I passed through.

“I should be the one to prosecute Obaseki, but what is it in life when God has given you your position? If it were to be his power, you wouldn’t be here, but God has told him, you don’t have it and I have given it to whom I want to give.”

The FCT minister also told the former governor of Edo State, Senator Adams Oshiomhole: “Leader, I know how pained you are and what you passed through. I know the sufferings you experienced and it was like a humiliation to you. I was part of it because I humiliated you.

“I apologised on national TV to you, sorry for what I did to you, leave it and let them carry their ‘wahala’ and go, focus on the development of Edo and you will see what you will achieve at the end of the day.”

Wike was in Benin to inaugurate the New Edo Line terminal, which is the second phase of Edo State Benin Central Bus Terminal.

The event was, however, cancelled, following the death of former President Muhammadu Buhari.

FCT area council workers suspend strike over Wike’s intervention

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) chapter of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) has suspended its three-month strike following the intervention of the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike.

The suspension was announced by the union in a statement, jointly signed on Monday by its president, Ibrahim Kabir, and secretary, Andulmumini Sa’ad.

The union explained that its State Executive Council (SEC) resolved to suspend the strike effective from midnight after exhaustive deliberation on Monday.

It said that the development followed Wike’s directive to utilise the area councils’ 10 percent Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) to offset the workers’ three months’ salary arrears.

The union said another resolution was for NULGE to work with the Special Committee constituted by Wike to harmonise all outstanding arrears within two weeks.

This, according to the union, was to ensure a holistic resolution through the National Assembly House Committee on FCT and Ancillary Matters.

The workers added that the union would engage with the area council chairmen to address outstanding issues.

“NULGE is committed to sustaining industrial peace and harmony within the council and FCT at large.

“The union expresses its profound gratitude to the FCT minister, the traditional council of FCT, and all relevant stakeholders for their efforts in resolving the industrial action,” the workers said.

The union identified the outstanding issues as a 40 percent peculiar allowance from January 2023 to date, and 25 percent and 35 percent salary adjustments from June 2023.

Other issues are the N35,000 wage award for six months from August 2024 to date, unremitting pension deductions, promotion arrears, and other outstanding entitlements.

The statement said; “The union remains committed to engaging with the area council chairmen on the remaining entitlements and looks forward to a swift resolution of all outstanding issues”.

  • Wike’s PDP

    Wike’s PDP

The case of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the current Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, evokes deep thought. The PDP had been appreciably damaged by its loss in the 2015 presidential election. Like fair weather friends, many stalwarts of the party who had benefited immensely from the party abandoned it. In fact, in a most unkind manner, one of the foremost beneficiaries of the PDP made a public show of destroying his party membership card. Some others who were not so negatively dramatic displayed betraying indifference. At the peak of the party’s tribulation, some suggested that it should change its name to renew its public appeal.

But there were people who did not give up on the PDP. Foremost among these loyalists of the party was Nyesom Wike, especially during his tenure as the Governor of Rivers State. He provided requisite funding and associated support and breathed life back into the PDP. Then those who wouldn’t touch the party with a long pole or kept what they imagined was a safe distance from the party started to fly back to it like moth towards light. And they returned with renewed predation and the attempt to sideline those who had stayed loyal to the party in its most trying times.

Nyesom Wike was one of the most prominent of the PDP stalwarts who suffered the conspiracy. Based on the belief that with the All Progressives Congress (APC) President Muhammadu Buhari, who is a northerner, about to end his 8-year tenure in 2015, it was expected that a southerner would be presented by the party. So, Wike showed interest in contesting the presidential primaries of the PDP towards the 2023 general elections. The popular belief at the time was that he was well-paced to emerge as the party’s candidate for the election. But that did not come to be. It was reported that last minute ethno-regional and political manoeuvres and manipulation accounted for his loss.

There were also proposals that Wike be nominated as the Vice-Presidential candidate to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar who won the PDP primary. This too did not materialise. And the question of undermining the zoning formula which was believed should have favoured the South arose. In line with this belief, Wike declared that he would only support a southerner for the presidency in 2023. Incidentally, the most prospective southerner at the time was Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the APC. So, Wike supported him in the presidential election, while simultaneously working for the victory of the PDP at the State House of Assembly, House of Representatives, Senate and Governorship elections in Rivers State.

Wike’s support for President Tinubu during the elections and his subsequent appointment by the President as the Minister of the FCT has made him prone to accusations of anti-party activities by some members of the PDP and certain members of the national elite, especially some sections of the Nigerian media. But Wike has robustly defended himself against this accusation. In fact, when Seun Okinbaloye, in a 30 August, 2023 Channels TV interview, asked him, “Governor Wike, you are a PDP member in an APC government. Is that right?”, Wike replied: “Governance is not about party. Party is a vehicle that conveys you. … I’m a PDP member … unrepentable.”

Wike also cited a precedent: “Remember Obasanjo and Atiku, President and Vice President in this country in 1999, … took late Bola Ige, who was an AD [Alliance for Democracy] member not just to become a Minister of Power, but [also] Attorney-General, No. 1 Minister of the country, … because Obasanjo and Atiku believed that he could contribute in these areas. … I never hid my intention. As a PDP member, I came out and [said] I’m going to support equity, fairness and justice. Did I not say so? Did we not say that you cannot as a party, if you mean well for this country, continue with the line you are going, [which] means that we [Southerners] don’t have a place in the party? … So, what is new now about anybody talking about I’m serving APC [while] in PDP.”

Wike explained further: “I was in PDP; I supported Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Yes, did I hide it? … I’m not here to work for a party. I’m here to support the President who has confidence in me to help him to deliver the renewed hope, and I owe nobody any apologies at all, at all. I was in PDP, I worked for Ahmed Tinubu to be President of Nigeria. In fact, … if people have forgotten history, in the South-east and South-south, there’s no … state the President won, except Rivers State. … We came out to say it earlier that we were going to support a southerner to be president.”

With respect to getting the approval of the leadership of the PDP before taking up the President’s offer of a ministerial position to him in an APC-controlled government, Wike said: “I respect the party. I wrote to the National Chairman and his people that this is the offer made to me by the President. Did they say they told me not to accept? I wrote a letter to the Zonal Chairman of my party. … They said, ‘Accept it. It’s a call for duty.’ I wrote to the State Chairman of my party. He said, ‘Accept it.’ I wrote to my Governor. He said, ‘Accept it.’”

Wike also disclosed: “This government wrote to all the governors of PDP and APC to nominate people for appointments … and … PDP governors nominated people for appointment. … I challenge anybody, anybody, anybody who is the governor of PDP that said he never wrote any letter to this government for so-so people to be appointed under this government. Has anybody come to challenge me?” To underscore the veracity of his claim, he dared any governor who could do so to counter the claim. It is uncertain whether any PDP governor has taken up this challenge.

Those who have been castigating the PDP for indulgence in relation to the party’s seeming inability to discipline or expel Wike from the PDP for accepting a position in an APC government and declaring his intention to support President Tinubu’s second term election in 2027, while still being a member of the PDP, thus appear to be oblivious of the real state of affairs of the party. In fact, to Okinbaloye’s question, “Are you afraid that your party might move against you and expel you?”, Wike replied: “No. Who’s the party?” To this question, Okinbaloye replied: “The PDP.” And Wike asked: “Who are the PDP people?” Okinbaloye responded: “The Executives of the party, the NEC [National Executive Committee] of the party.”

Then Wike remarked: “How can anybody talk about expelling me, [in] a state that brought a state governor, a state that brought three Senators, a state that produced 32 House of Assembly members, a state that produced 11 out of 13 House of Reps members.” He also asked: “Who are these people coming to say they would discipline me? Discipline who? Discipline who?” He further boasted: “I have not seen that person, with all due respect, who would do it. … Nobody would do it. … I should be the one calling for the discipline of these people who violated the party constitution … in the way that the party said there must be rotation.”

Meanwhile, some prominent members of the PDP declared that they were committed to stopping President Tinubu from getting a second term in office, but, in a defeatist way, said that the PDP could not achieve that goal alone. So, they decided to defect from the PDP and form a new party or move to an existing one. These PDP members have been working in collaboration with some disaffected members of the APC and some members of the Labour Party (LP). Recently, the coalition against President Tinubu decided to join the African Democratic Congress (ADC). The defection of the PDP members of the coalition has further created a challenge to Wike and his allies to see that the PDP does not die.

In fact, one of the erstwhile vocal promoters of the PDP who is enamoured of the coalition, Dele Momodu, said: “There is only one major stakeholder in PDP and that is Nyesom Wike.” Momodu said that Wike had insulted and alienated key figures in the party. Momodu also declared: “Without any doubt, people are leaving the carcass of PDP to Wike and his cronies.” Wike also said about members of the coalition: “The buccaneers and vampires – We have sent them parking.”

In the PDP, there have been those who have manifested the inconstant, nectar-seeking butterfly syndrome and who, like rolling stones, have gathered no moss. Then there have been migratory political birds who usually have not been making any significant political appearance until the approach of elections. Moreover, there have been political hibernators who have withdrawn from the political scene to save themselves from the exertions which constantly nurturing the party can require. In addition, there have been what may be called ‘transitional politicians’ whose souls, as some PDP leaders have put it, have left the party with only their bodies remaining in it.

These categories of PDP members have provided a backdrop for politicians like Nyesom Wike who, once the curtains of stereotypes are drawn, reveal them as having been the true pillars of the party. In the circumstance, the PDP needs revaluation, reformation and regeneration.

The Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has directed that Abuja and the Satellite Towns in the FCT be completely rid of street beggars/traders, “one chance” syndicates, scavengers, miscreants and other social nuisances.

Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Public Communications and Social Media to the Minister, Lere Olayinka, said in a statement on Wednesday, that an operation code-named “Operation Sweep Abuja of miscreants, street beggars/traders, scavengers and other criminal elements” has commenced in the FCT.

The statement reads: “In line with the Abuja Environmental Protection Act, and other relevant laws, the FCT Minister, Barrister Nyesom Wike has directed the immediate evacuation of miscreants, street beggars and traders, scavengers and other criminal elements from the FCT.

“Our nation’s capital should be a secured symbol of pride and beauty, not a site for street beggars and scavengers, most of whom are agents of criminal elements.

“To achieve this, a Joint Task Force, comprising security agencies and relevant FCT SDAs have been deployed to apprehend any persons found begging, scavenging, loitering or engaging in other acts inimical to the well-being of the residents. Arrangements have been made to profile them and hand them over to their home state governments.

    • FCT minister urges Nigerians to pray for President

Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike has said he joined President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration because he was sure it would give Nigerians dividends of democracy.

Wike assured fellow Nigerians that most of the nation’s challenges would soon fade out.

The minister urged fellow Nigerians to be patient with the current administration.

Wike spoke at a thanksgiving service for the successful completion of projects and their inauguration at the Diocese of Abuja (Anglican Communion) St. James’ Church, Asokoro, Abuja.

President Tinubu, he said, has achieved a lot within two years in office.

The FCT minister described President Tinubu as very interested in governance, adding that the President gave the ministers marching orders to ensure the nation’s progress.

He urged the church to continue to pray for President Tinubu and those working with him.

Wike urged the church to shun politicians and past leaders who are only interested in their personal gains.

The FCT minister said those who have formed a coalition on the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) are out to destroy the country.

He queried the group’s credibility and asked for its motive.

Wike said: “Let me tell you, if the Tinubu government had not worked, I would not have supported it. FCT residents and Nigerians in general, everybody can attest to the changes Mr. President has introduced in the FCT. Before now, it was difficult for FCT to access funds. Mr. President, in his wisdom, made sure that we were pulled out of the Treasury Single Account (TSA), which has been stagnating the development of the FCT.

“Today, we can see the projects because we are no longer operating under the TSA.

“Let me use this opportunity to tell you, particularly the church, you nearly made the worst mistake in 2023. We have to be very careful this time round. It would have been a decision that would have cost some of us our future.

“Ask us questions. We are the politicians. You have to be careful about what we tell you. If nothing had happened, some of us would not be here today. Don’t allow people with propaganda to blackmail you. Now, see what happened. The Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre; you know, some people were running it. They were paying the government N50 million every year, and these are the people who want to rescue Nigeria.

“When we went there, Mr. President said this is an eyesore. He said this is not the quality (the place should have), this is not the Nigeria we should present. And we shut the place down. Now, within six or seven months, we have rehabilitated the International Conference Centre.

“But do you know the shocking thing? The man who was running it was paying N50 million to the government in a year. But now, three weeks after renovation and continued activities there, we have generated over N700 million.”

“That’s the kind of thing they want. When you say no, we will not allow that, they paint you all kinds of pictures and tell you stories. People had the opportunity to be in government for several years – eight years, 20 years. People had the opportunity to bring facilities and infrastructure to their states, but they didn’t do it. At that time, Nigerians were not angry. It is only now they are not in office that Nigerians are angry.

“If I say we want to rescue Nigeria, what you should ask me, when you had the opportunity, is: what happened? If you ask me today about when I was governor of Rivers State, what happened? I am able to say yes, I did this, I did this, I did this. Today in the FCT, I’m able to do this, this, this, and that. We were here when people were bombing trains to Kaduna. Was it under the administration of Bola Tinubu that the trains were bombed? That time, they did not rescue Nigeria.

“The country was dead; it would take hard decisions to be made. We are aware that there are challenges. Two years in a country that was run down, and we expect a miracle worker. It is not prayer where you say somebody is sick: in the name of God, I heal you. It doesn’t work that way.

“You are now confessing the changes because you have a government that is determined to make changes. If the Bola Tinubu government was not interested, it would be the same thing. But because it is interesting to say, this is not the kind of capital we should have; this is not the kind of city Nigerians should be proud of. We have to be like other cities in the world. Yes, we cannot say we have completely changed Abuja. But you can see that the processes and the steps are being taken to put Abuja where it’s supposed to be.”

‘Rescue Nigeria’ claims by coalition party ADC members selfish – Wike

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Sunday dismissed the recent coalition movement by the opposition political party African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Wike said the agenda of members of the party is driven by selfish ambition rather than a genuine desire to rescue Nigeria.

Speaking at a Thanksgiving service held at Saint James Anglican Church, Asokoro, Abuja, to celebrate the successful completion of projects commissioned in the FCT by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to mark the President’s second year in office, Wike challenged the opposition’s narrative.

He said, “They want to rescue their stomach, not Nigeria,” Wike declared, debunking claims that the opposition aims to save the nation.

Wike further stated that Nigerians’ anger is directed not at the current administration, but at the opposition for their past failures to deliver democratic dividends.

The Minister dared the opposition to present their scorecards, questioning their inconsistent political allegiances, “How can Nigerians not be angry with you? In 1999, you were at another party, in 2006, you moved to another party, and in 2014, you moved to another party. In 2019, you moved back to another party. Now, in 2025, you are moving to another party to rescue who? You want to rescue your stomach. It’s not Nigeria you want to rescue. So let us tell ourselves the simple truth”.

Wike highlighted what he described as the ‘opposition’s hypocrisy’, noting their silence on national issues when they held power.

“People had the opportunity to be in government for several years; people had the opportunity to bring infrastructure to their States; they didn’t do it. At that time, Nigerians were not angry. It is now that they are not in office that Nigerians are angry”, he observed.

He cited examples such as the bombing of trains during previous administrations and the accumulation of national debt without commensurate development.

Wike reiterated President Tinubu’s commitment to good governance, citing positive changes already brought about, including the transparent handling of oil subsidy removal, which has significantly increased monthly allocations to states.

He also pointed to progressive reforms within the FCT under President Tinubu’s leadership, such as the appointment of dedicated workers as Permanent Secretaries, the withdrawal of the FCTA from the Treasury Single Account (TSA) to boost infrastructure funding, and the successful rehabilitation of the Bola Tinubu International Conference Centre, which has led to an increase in revenue for the FCTA.

Urging Nigerians to be discerning, the Minister appealed to the church to continue praying for President Tinubu and his cabinet, emphasising that overcoming years of national challenges required patience and bold decisions.

He expressed gratitude to the President for the opportunity to contribute to national growth, acknowledging the competent team assembled under the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Earlier, Venerable Benjamin Idume, Archdeacon and Vicar, St James Anglican Church, Asokoro, in his sermon, described Wike’s appointment to the FCT as preordained and commended President Tinubu’s visionary leadership.

He lauded the Minister’s performance, stating, “I thank God that your appointment was sustained and you have proved doubting Thomases wrong”, and prayed for God to continue to guide and protect him.

The Thanksgiving service was attended by notable dignitaries, including the Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, Chairman, Senate Committee on FCT Area Councils and Ancillary Matters, Senator David Jimkuta, Speaker, Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon. Martins Amaehule, former Governors of Abia, Benue, and Enugu States, Okezie Ikpeazu, Samuel Ortom, and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi respectively, former Senator representing the FCT, Senator Philip Aduda, Executive Secretary, FCDA, Engr. Richard Yunana Dauda, other top officials of the FCTA, Chairman of FCT Area Councils, among others.

He called on Nigerians to be patient with the Tinubu-led administration, noting that the president has made significant progress in just two years in office.

“President Tinubu is truly committed to governance. He gave ministers clear marching orders to do everything necessary to advance the country,” Wike said, while urging churches to continue praying for the president and his team.

The former Rivers State governor warned against giving attention to politicians and former leaders who are only driven by personal interests. According to him, those forming coalitions to oppose the current government are the same individuals who contributed to the country’s decline.

“They are not working for Nigeria’s good. They are out to destroy the country after playing key roles in bringing it down,” Wike stated.

He said, “If President Bola Tinubu’s government does not work, I would not have supported it.

“The government is working and Nigerians should be patient. I know there are challenges. Things will be better soon”.
