Wanni X Handi stink, says BBNaija evictee, Rhuthee

In a post-eviction interview with Big Brother Naija host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the reality star Rhuthee, claimed that twins Wanni and Hanni have body odour.

She stated that their smell is noticeable and distinctive, citing an incident during a game where a housemate identified one of the twins by their scent.

Describing the situation, Rhuthee said: “They stink, they smell. I’m not even making it up. There was a task we played. And they were like they want to know if you know your partner. When Wanni came or Hanni came, I knew it had to be one of them. She said she could tell it was them because of their smell. And if they were smart, they would have known that because we could hardly perceive any other person. So why was yours so obvious? Even me I smelt, I knew it was you. So, when a person has body odour you can tell when the person works in a place.”

Shaun shared that being with Wanni, his romantic interest in the house, boosted his mood due to her uplifting personality.

He also said Victoria withdrew into herself and found it difficult to navigate and mingle with other housemates.

“I struggled in the first week with my duo, we kinda had a problem before coming into the house, I came in wanting to have a space away from her a little, so when I was with Wanni, she lifted my spirit and Victoria went into her shell”, he stated.

Shaun also noted that the Victoria he’s seeing in the house isn’t the same person he knew before entering the show.

Newly evicted BBNaija housemate Nne of the Ndi Nne duo shared her experience of living in the house with her aunt, Chinne.

In a recent interview on Outsyd by Pulse, Nne expressed gratitude for having her aunt by her side.

She said: “I loved having a family member with me, someone who knew me and could take this journey with me. I loved almost every part of being with her, she was the right person to go into the house with. When it comes to things I didn’t like, I can’t think of anything right now because it was mostly good.”

Nne highlighted the complementary nature of their relationship, with her aunt’s extroverted personality helping to bring her out of her introverted shell.

She said: “She was the right person because she is family, she is blood and she understands me. I’m an introvert and she’s an extrovert so we kind of compliment each other about the downsides to each other and where we don’t shine the brightest, the other person helps lift the other person up,” she said.

Nne and Chinne’s eviction came after Streeze, the custodians of the BBNaija house, exercised their power to evict a pair, following votes from viewers.

RCCG’s altars not for women with makeup, men with braids – Adeboye

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has criticized certain fashion trends among church members, specifically addressing men with braided hair and women wearing false eyelashes and heavy makeup.

Speaking during the church’s 72nd annual convention, Adeboye expressed his disapproval of these styles, stating that they would no longer be tolerated on RCCG altars.

He emphasised that braided hair is traditionally associated with Sango priests in Yorubaland, and adopting such styles contradicts the church’s values and mission.

“In Yorubaland, the only men who braid hair are the priests of Sango, the god of thunder. They say this is a new age and that we must be adaptable to what is going on. To continue as Sango priests? Not in this mission. Even after I’m gone, it will still not happen”, he said.

He also criticised female pastors who wear heavy makeup, saying they would be removed from the altar.

According to Church Times, Adeboye said further, “Take this word from me. When we find anybody among pastors; particularly female pastors, made up to look like a representative of Nollywood; we will walk her off the altar.”

The cleric emphasised the importance of modesty and self-acceptance, encouraging church members to appreciate their natural appearance.

“You can quote me: Tell anybody who questioned why you are doing this drastic change, tell him or her, “Daddy GO said so,” he asserted.

He urged those who feel the need to alter their appearance to repent and embrace their originality.

“He did a good job. When He created you, you were original. You remain an original”.

While pleading for forgiveness if he was too harsh, he said, ‘You may not like it. If you are my children, you can’t kill me. Do you know why men don’t makeup? I mean, real men. It’s because we have what is called a superiority complex.  We stand before the Lord and say, ‘God, You did a good job creating us. You made no mistake.

“When you begin to fix false nails, I wonder what you want to achieve – If God wanted to make you a bird, He would have given you a false nail and false eyelashes”.

Adeboye wondered why a woman would expose her breasts.

“She wants to divert attention from her face.  She believes she is ugly, so the man will be lured.  All my daughters listen to me: You are fearfully and wonderfully made. If anybody does not like you the way you are, it’s that person’s loss,” he added.
