Toby: “My mind is telling me there’s somebody outside. I’ve seen you and Kelly, that’s true friendship, but if it turns out to be Kelly, I’d be so angry.”

    Kassia: “Ah ahnn why?”

Toby: “I would be so pissed off that I might hate him sef, because there is no reason for him to pretend.”

    Kassia: “Are you for real?”

Toby: “Yes, I might not talk to you again ever, it will be paining me, like nobody should hide you, I would never hide you.”

Kassia: “Why Kelly’s own pain you more than another guy outside?”

Toby: “Because he is here and he has every time and moment to show you that I don’t wanna hide, even if it’s a tactic….. You people behave so suspiciously. The way you guys hug, the way you guys talk, it’s too suspicious.”

Kassia: “How do we talk? We barely even sit together.”

Toby: “Exactly but when you guys are in contact, you can know that there’s a strong bond there. I don’t know if it’s love or friendship but whatever bond it is, it’s very distracting.

“So if it’s Kelly and you’re pretending, I won’t talk to you guys again.”

AGN lifts suspension on Adanma Luke, reapproves riverine shootings

The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has lifted the suspension on producer Adanma Luke, which was imposed following the tragic deaths of five crew members, including actor Junior Pope, on the set of her movie “The Other Side of Life” in April.

However, the AGN has urged members to adhere strictly to safety protocols and follow the safety standards outlined in the guild’s bylaws to prevent similar incidents in the future.

The statement signed by the national secretary, Abubakar Yakubu, reads: “The National President of the Guild, Dr. Ejezie Emeka Rollas, MON, use this opportunity to announce the lifting of the suspension placed on Adanma Luke, producer of the movie ‘Another Side of Life,’ where star actor Junior Pope and four other crew members lost their lives in Anam river.

“The President also lifted the ban on filming in riverine areas but cautioned members to apply all safety standard measures recommended in the AGN Bylaws.”

The initial suspension was imposed after an investigation revealed that Luke had violated safety protocols, leading to the tragic incident on April 10, where five crew members drowned after their boat capsized in the River Niger.

The AGN’s decision to lift the suspension and ban followed a thorough review of the case and a commitment to prioritising safety in the film industry.
