  • Okotie’s ex-wife Stephanie goes calm

Fame is often described as a vapour, which may soon fade away. But the only thing that endures is character. While she works very hard, the stylish entrepreneur ensures she plays hard also. And for her, relaxation time might constitute attending social events.

But those who are familiar with the routine of the beautiful mother of three would have noticed that she likes to step out in company with her daughter, Stephanie, as well as Richard Mofe Damijo and his wife, Jumobi. Spotted at a recent event, she looked very chic in a black floor-length evening dress. As expected, she received many admiring glances from the host and invited guests.

  • Kennedy Uzoka: let the good times roll

The Nigerian banking sector is widely regarded as a battle ground. It takes the fearlessness of Hercules, the doggedness and shrewdness of an expert to survive.  One of the reasons for Kennedy Uzoka’s longevity in the Nigerian banking sector is his ability to perfectly blend these traits. Little wonder he has become the beloved of the creme de la crème of Nigeria’s high society.

Kennedy, the incoming Management Director of UBA, and the next man in line to take over the rein of leadership from August 1st, has been going about his preparations in a fashion reminiscent of a mountain climber. Kennedy is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that his tenure is devoid of unforeseen hitches. Now, many favour seekers have begun to mill around him in a desperate bid to enjoy his good graces. Many of his close associates are also said to be planning to honour him with a party, with the details still under wraps.

  • Tunde Soleye bounces back

Dr. Tunde Soleye is undoubtedly a man of diverse talents; and his resilient disposition towards life and his enigmatic ability to bounce back each time he is down has left many in awe. Recently, Tunde Soleye, who is the former husband of ex-beauty queen, Nike Oshinowo, has been choosy about the events he attends.

He, however, breaks the rule once in a while to celebrate with close friends and family members. As one of the distinguished guests at Senator Florence Ita-Giwa’s 70th birthday party, he once again proved that he obviously hasn’t lost the suave mannerisms that made him the toasts of top gatherings. He grooved and enjoyed partying after a prolonged absence from the social scene. Soleye oozed confidence and sophistication that made many slobber in admiration.

  • Another honour for Tunde Braimoh

It was another day of honour for Lagos lawmaker, Hon. Tunde Braimoh, as he added another feather to his already studded cap recently, when he was conferred with the chieftaincy title of Otunba Bamofin of Ketu Kingdom by Oba Isiaka Oyero, the Alaketu of Ketu Kingdom.

The fashionable lawmaker, who has about 15 chieftaincy titles to his name, was honoured alongside his pretty wife, Yetunde, who bagged the chieftaincy title of Yeye Otunba Bamofin of Ketu Kingdom.

Braimoh, who represents Kosofe II Constituency in the Lagos Assembly, was clearly the toast at the event, which marked the fifth anniversary of the Ketu monarch. Notable leaders of the APC in Lagos, including Pa Abiodun Sunmola, Chief Stephen Oyedele and Mr. Segun Akhigbe, among others, were on hand to support the ‘masses man’.

  • What’s up with Kingsley Kuku’s guber ambition?

Few months ago, the name of Kingsley Kuku elicited respect and admiration on the Nigeria socio-political scene. Not only was he one of the top shot politicians in the country, he occupied a lofty position as the Special Adviser to former President Goodluck Jonathan on Niger Delta Affairs and Chairman of the Presidential Amnesty Programme.

However, it is undisputable that the country is in an era of change and it seems Kuku’s political career got the memo. As the 2016 gubernatorial election in Ondo State hots up, nothing much has been heard on the much-talked about ambition of Kingsley Kuku.

He has gone underground since Jonathan left office, perhaps still mourning the loss of his party, PDP. While some people claimed the fear of the EFCC is the beginning of wisdom for the very rich dude, others insisted he’s still recuperating in America from a leg injury. Although no one knows the reason for Kuku’s sudden disappearance from the limelight, many have been wondering what will become of his political career and if it will ever be rejuvenated.

  • John Obayuwana and Enemaya Lawani’s bond

To quite a lot of people, John Obayuwana and Enemaya Lawani are one of the most unlikely lovers in Nigeria. Despite their differences, the bond between the two has strengthened over the years. In the last few years, luxury goods merchant, John Obayuwana, and Enemaya Lawani, have been an item, though neither of them has come forward to put a specific definition to their newly revived closeness. The age difference that exists between the pair may be like one end of Safari Desert to another end, their reportedly romantic affair seems to be waxing stronger with the dawn of each day.

This was noticed at a recent wedding in Lagos, where John was all over Ene like two lovers who have just been struck with the cupid arrow. That these two socialites have a connecting chemistry of young lovers was indisputably at play during the event. John and Ene were all over each other at the wedding, like two love birds who have been lost in their own world of emotional ecstasy. The eye-to-eye gazes exchanged by the duo kept announcing their deep-seated love for each other. Ene, who has been linked with quite a number of dudes in the past, is unabashedly in love with John, but only time will spell out the longevity of the affair.
