Three safe ways to enjoy pregnancy-free s3x life

Taking in is a blessing but circumstances may warrant the avoidance of pregnancy. This may be due to economic hardship or health complications.

Here are three ways to enjoy a safe s3x life without pregnancy:

    (1) The rhythm method

This method is for a female partner. It requires that you keep tab on your menstrual cycle to know your fertile days and infertile days to plan your s3x life.

Menstrual history begins on the first day of menstruation in one month to the first day of menstruation in the following month. Consistently keep count of the number of days in each cycle. These numbers may not be consistent. So take note of the length: longest cycle and the shortest cycle.

Read Also: Davido’s alleged French side chick shares pregnancy update

To get the first fertile day, subtract 18 days from the total number of days in your shortest cycle. Whatever you have left will be the first day of your fertile day. Say the shortest length of your cycle is 28 days; subtract 18 days and 10 days is left. Start counting 10 days from the first day of your menstruation to day 10. On that day 10, marks the first day of your fertile days.

To track your last fertile day, subtract 11 from the total number of days in your longest cycle. What is left marks the end of your fertile days. Say the longest length of your cycle is 31 days; subtract 11 days and 20 days is left. Start counting 20 days from the first day of your menstruation to day 20. On that day, marks the last day of your fertile days. Use your menstrual history to plan your sex life.

    (2)Pull-out method

This method focuses on a male partner. Such partner avoids  ejaculation during love making.

    (3) Correct use of protection

Besides other contraceptives,  such as pills, that may cause cancer in the long run, condom is 95% safe. It is available for both male and female partner

The above do not definitely rule out the possibility of getting pregnant. You can consult your doctor for more advise. Meanwhile, ensure you are with a respectful and trustworthy partner within the ambience and security of marriage.

  • Three ways to save money on tight budget

Three ways to save money on tight budget

The recent removal of fuel subsidy has limited the amount of disposable income available to Nigerians

If you are wondering how to survive the high cost of living and save on a tight budget, here are steps to consider:

    Avoid spontaneous purchases:
Let people call you ‘ijebu’ all they want but it is your shoe and you know where it bites. Absolutely avoid buying things you did not plan for. Write out a weekly list of purchases and stick to it. You may even realise you will no longer need to purchase some items on the list. There you go; that little money may just sustain you.

    *Resist buying in bits

Buying in bits drills a hole in your pockets and leaves you wondering where all the money went. This is because retail sellers sell with added profit. Purchase the number of items that will sustain you for at least a month and buy at wholesale prices too.

    * Adopt cheaper ways of transportation
Transport fare looms large in our world of spending and it’s necessary for reaching various destinations. Walk trekkable distances; hitch a ride with neighbours or acquaintances; move close to your workplace but not to a place with exorbitant rent; consider cycling too.

This is a trailing time for every Nigerian. While the aforementioned will help you save money on a tight budget, an improved standard of living with a pleasant economy is what we should all strive towards.

Davido’s music video: Four times entertainers raised religious eyebrows

Popular artist David Adeleke, also known as Davido, recently received criticism from Muslim fans after posting a music video of new DMW signee Logos Olori on his social media platforms.

The music video was shot in a mosque-like scene that some Muslim faithful found offensive.

  • Seven legal weapons for widows to inherit husband’s properties

Seven legal weapons for widows to inherit husband’s properties

In Nigeria, when a husband dies, the widow has the right to inherit his properties. This means she can get the things he owned after he passed away. It is important because it helps the widow continue her life and take care of the family. This rule is fair and helps widows have a secure future. The seven legal weapons include:

    1. Statutory Marriage: If the marriage was registered under the Nigerian law, the widow has legal rights to her deceased husband’s property. Section 39 of the Matrimonial Causes Act 1970 recognises the right of a widow to inherit her husband’s property.

    2. Estate Administration: The widow should apply for letters of administration or probate to legally administer the husband’s estate. This process may involve obtaining a certificate of death and providing required documentation as per the applicable laws.

    3. Intestate Succession: If the husband died without leaving a will, the widow is entitled to inherit a certain portion of the estate. As per the provisions of the Administration of Estate Law, the widow usually inherits a share of the estate, alongside the children and other relatives. The specific percentage may vary based on factors like the presence of children, other heirs, etc.

    4. Customary Marriage: If the marriage was conducted under customary law, the widow may have rights to inherit the husband’s property as per customary practices. These practices can vary based on cultural and regional traditions.

    5. Right of Residence: Even if the property is not bequeathed to the widow, she may have the right to reside in the matrimonial home for a period. Section 17(3) of the Matrimonial Causes Act 1970 grants the surviving spouse the right to reside in the matrimonial home for her lifetime, or until she remarries.

    6. Jointly Owned Property: If the property was jointly owned by the couple, the widow may automatically become the sole owner of the property after the husband’s death. However, legal advice should be sought to ascertain the exact ownership rights and any necessary legal procedures to be followed.

    7. Consult a Legal Professional: It is essential for the widow to seek legal advice from a qualified lawyer who specializes in inheritance and family law. They can guide the widow through the legal processes and provide accurate interpretation and application of the relevant sections of Nigerian law.
