A non-governmental organisation (NGO), Hopewell Initiatives for National Development, has complemented the efforts of the Lagos State Government by donating relief materials to Lagosians.
It gave food items to Ike-Oluwa and Igbehin-Adun communities at Obawole, Iju Ishaga. Over 100 people were given rice, gari and other food items.
The founder, Mrs. Bilquees Aiyepola, said she thought it wise to cater for the well-being of residents, adding: “This is the best time to show love and care to people.”
She urged Nigerians to support the government by helping their neighbours, particularly the less privileged.

Aiyepola advised Lagosians to follow instructions by the government and World Health Organisation (WHO), to eradicate Coronavirus.
The communities received the items through their representatives. Mr. Oni Kayode represented Ike-Oluwa community, while
Mr. Opute Jilbert represented Igbehin Adun community.
They hailed the NGO for donating the relief materials.
