  • BBNaija: Cee-C feels threatened by me – Anto

Ex-Big Brother Housemate, Anto said Cee-C feels threatened by her during her stay in the house.

The cool, calm and collected Anto revealed this interesting tit bit when asked about her relationship with Tobi where she revealed that she would have loved to purse a relationship with him; describing Lolu as a platonic friend.

“Tobi is one of the persons I would love to purse a relationship in the house and possibly outside it but he has already been romantically involved with Cee-C,” Anto said.

When Ebuka asked Anto of the possibility of another love blossoming outside of the house. She responded that she would like it but isn’t too keen about it.

She also stated that Tobi was childish and Cee-C had continually seen her as a threat, linking her exit from the show to her.

It finally panned out as true but with a shocker twist when Anto realised she was also nominated for eviction by Bambam as well.

Anto was put up for eviction based on the fact that both Bambam and Cee-C saw her as a threat, as well as competitive amongst others.

  • BBNaija: I can’t promise I’ll date Lolu – evicted housemate Anto

Evicted housemate, Anto who said she had a premonition she would be out of the house on Sunday has said she can’t promise she and fellow housemate, Lolu, would date after the show.

Anto disclosed this when she spoke with Ebuka, host of the live eviction party after she left the house.

Describing her experience in the house, Anto said: “The house is weird. I thought it would definitely be a bit easier. I was dealing with personalities I probably wouldn’t be dealing with in my own regularlife. But it was a great experience. I met people I probably wouldn’t have met in any other situation. I now have more friends.

“I wanted to win the prize definitely because I need money as we all do. I have some things that I wanted to use the money for”

Responding to a fan’s question on the ‘love triangle’ she was in with fellow housemates Lolu and Tobi, Anto said she wanted Tobi initially,  but Lolu was her ‘guy’. She also said she wasn’t certain she could date either of them.

    “Lolu’s my guy,” she said.

“I guess in the house, he was my romantic partner.”

She however said she wasn’t ‘promising anything’ in terms of dating.

Anto also said Tobi is a friend but waved him off as ‘childish.’

“Tobi is also my friend. When I first went into the house, that’s who I thought I was going to go after but Cee-C grabbed that one so I left him.”

Ebuka then probed her if there is potential for her to date Tobi to which she dismissed Tobi as childish.

“Now, that I’m getting to know him, I like him as a person.

“I don’t know if I can date him but I can see that he is very childish,” Anto said.

  • BBNaija: Two evicted housemates to return to show

Big Brother 2018 host, Ebuka announced today that viewers have the power of bringing back two of any evicted housemates including the one evicted tonight (Anto).

He said, “There’s a major change in this week’s voting. Big Brother has accorded two evicted housemates the opportunity to return to the show and play for the money.

So instead of voting for eviction, you will rather be voting for recall of two housemates.”

This however means any of Vandora, Leo, Ifu Ennada, Dee-One, Bitto, Princess and Angel could be reinstated back to the house.

The reinstatement is also applicable to disqualified housemates, Khloe and K-Brule who were disqualified from the show after they hit the total of three stikes weeks ago.

  • BBNaija: Highlights from Last Night’s Tobi and Cee-C Drama (A recap)

Every Saturday Night is incomplete without some light drama from our favourites, Tobi and Cee-C.

While their argument ranges from love to sexual harassments and onto intimate moments shared, their argument always affects everyone in the house.

Tonight wasn’t any different as a huge argument slowly began to erupt between Cee-C and Tobi over the events of her attitude from Thursday through the Samvita contest till early Sunday morning.

Cee-C and Tobi had seemed to have settled the issue initially until he went to seek the advice of his small council in persons of Rico, Alex and Anto.

Tobi really felt sad that he crossed the line in calling Cee-C a “silly bitch,” one that he agreed was a slip of thoughts buried in the innermost recesses of his mind. How it got all out was his dilemma and he sought advice from the ever wise sage, Anto.

She declared that people were supposed to be happy and not sad. But that didn’t end there; Tobi faulted Alex for not pulling his attention to his disrespect, one that Alex was apologetic for not reminding him on time. Rico balanced the whole equation by telling him to own up to his mistakes, one that Tobi agreed to do once he found the way forward.

An advice Anto emphasized at length.
Cee-C watched all these drama from the kitchen and requested his presence thereafter.

    Cee-C and Tobi has become a topic – Cee-C

An emotional Cee-C became so angry with the continued drama between her and Tobi. It is obvious she really loves him a and doesn’t want him off so easily and yet she still doesn’t want him to go. So, she begs him, blaming her frowning face and bad attitude as her issues and not his.

“Everything should not always be about you,” she said.

“Let me be silly. People are having worst issues outside but with us, there is no issue. I don’t know what is the way forward. Have you ever done something that you thought was wrong?

Tobi shrugged, saying all he’s ever done has been superb thus far. Cee-C found it difficult to believe but she let that slide as she sought a way to end their continued Saturday drama.

Cee-C and Tobi’s issue had better not come into the house, it is negative- Alex

Despite having Tobi as her sworn buddy; Alex would have none of the Saturday Night Drama this time. She felt Cee-C and Tobi should just cut the crap and settle the issue for good.

” Don’t bring this issue into the house,” she warned the duo.

“Their fight always involves everyone in the house. It goes from the Party, to the garden and then to the house and the rooms and we can no longer sleep again. I don’t want trouble,” she issued a second warning, anticipating Cee-C and Tobi’s drama to escalate in seconds.

I don’t want things to be cozy between us- Tobi

Immediately after taking Anto’s submission that when an issue becomes recurrent; it is unsolved, Tobi moves to severe ties with Cee-C.

Tobi gives Cee-C the option. “Can we be cool?” He asks. Cool means just a platonic friendship and not getting into my space.

Clearly Tobi wants out of his entanglement with Cee-C for good and is definitely eyeing Anto as his new eye candy. Cee-C senses trouble but needs the closure of Tobi and would not drop the guard off her man.

We have become a topic. Let’s stop giving other Housemates who don’t have as much issues as we do to have things to talk about us. You don’t hear what they say behind your back, Cee-C barked. She begins to urge for a united front but Tobi is done.

“Can we be cool Cee-C? Thursday till Saturday you gave me attitudes,” Tobi snaps back.

“There is no issue between us,” Cee-C clarifies.

“I don’t have an attitude. The drama is too much. The 3 weeks before this madness was real. So it is always normal for me to react.” Cee-C admits too much and is very close to telling Tobi how she really feels. But Tobi has moved on, he keeps on demanding answers.

“I don’t want things to be cozy between us,” Tobi says, more determined to kick Cee-C out for good.

But Cee-C plays the Anto card. She tells Tobi he is falling for someone and it would sound funny of which Tobi giggles. He knows what she is implying.

“I am trying to move on but I feel you are getting close to a particular person because of me,” Cee-C finally admits. She keeps pushing Tobi and Tobi who is clearly determined to move on keeps telling Cee-C off. It is obvious the emotionally weak Tobi is finally dead and a new one has now resurrected.

“If this drama is not going the way it should, then I will opt out. This is not the attitude I want,” Tobi puts his feet down.

So much for a love that has turned cold as this year’s lovebirds continue to amp up the stereo. Will the Tobi and Cee-C shop ever set sail? Only time will tell.

  • BBNaija: I was beaten for acting Drama – Cee-C

Cynthia Nwadiora, also known as Cee-C in the Nigeria TV Reality Show, Big Brother Naija, has recalled her foremost days in pursing her acting career.

While in a discussion with fellow Housemate, Rico Swavey, Cee-C admitted to being beaten up severally by her parents whenever she acted any playlet or drama scene in her childhood.

“I have always been like this; I have always been dramatic,” She stated.

Cee-C told Rico that her best moment was quitting her job at the law firm and settling for acting. According to her, her life has been better ever since and it didn’t take her much time to achieve the stardom she so desired.

While Rico blamed circumstances as obstacles that can stop one from identifying their specific talent in time; Cee-C believed that many Parents did not do enough to push their children towards their dreams.

“We need to be better parents than the ones before us. Our parents didn’t do well. The best thing that can ever happen is for a child to be supported by their parents. I was beaten for acting Drama,” Cee-C said.

She finally urged parents to support their children immensely.

“Do all you can for the well being of your child. We can’t understand things as children, only parents can. Do well to support your children in achieving their dreams,” She advised.

  • BBNaija: Who goes home tomorrow?

This week, on the Big Brother Naija show, eight housemates, including Miracle, Tobi, Teddy A, Lolu, Cee-C, BamBam, Anto and Alex are up for possible eviction.

For the first time since the show started, the housemates are competing as individuals, and only Nina, as lucky Head of House and Rico, who had the least nomination by fellow housemates are free from eviction fever this weekend.

As the Head of House, Nina was asked to pick one out of four cards, which will determine if she’s immune from possible eviction or has the power to save and replace a nominated housemate. She picked immunity, so doesn’t have the power to save any housemate.

On how the nominations went last Monday, Teddy A nominated Tobi and Miracle; Rico nominated Cee-C and Miracle; Cee-C nominated Anto and Alex; Nina nominated Bambam and Lolu; Miracle nominated Cee-C and Lolu; Alex nominates Bambam and Cee-C; Tobi nominated Teddy A and Bambam; Bambam nominated Tobi and Anto; Lolu nominated Rico and Bambam while Anto nominated Teddy A and Alex.

If comments by fans of the show are anything to go by, those likely to be affected by lowest votes would be Anto and Bambam.

  • Biggie, Heaven and Earth of BBNaija

One of the myths of the Big Brother show is the voice of the chief voyeur and instructor called Biggie. He is to be heard, imagined, but not seen; neither by the housemates nor the fans of the show.

The curious case of this stern and sometimes genial personality, one could say, is similar to that of Nigeria’s mask styled Afrocentric singer, Bisade Ologunde, aka Lagbaja, who separates his career personality from his person.

But just as some people have bumped into the singer without his mask, many would have bumped into Biggie without knowing he is the one.

Such is a celebrity status that celebrates the inner person and painfully so, a stardom that is concealed by contract.

Those who think they know Big Brother may be wrong, because the organisers go the miles to conceal his identity. The only set of people who know Biggie so well are the housemates who, although have not seen him physically, but have come to build a mental image of him, and going by their daily interaction, have enjoyed some feel of intimacy.

Indeed, Big Brother is all you need to know of him. He is a voice not a person in a way. That is why he’d always reply any housemate who care to know how he’s faring, saying: ‘Big Brother is fine, Big Brother is always fine.’

Those who follow the show closely would tell you that each time you think you have Biggie figured out; he takes an entirely different direction.

At some point, last year, the task by Biggie was centered on art, and housemates were asked to allow their imagination flow, as they drew what they imagined an invisible force like Big Brother, who is everywhere and sees everything, would look like if he was human. The outcome was very interesting.

Efe came up with an interesting picture that depicted Biggie as a faceless, yet ubiquitous person who sees everything. Debie Rise depicted Biggie as a father figure who is warm and stern at the same time, while TTT drew Biggie as a faceless yet omnipresent person. Uriels’ imagination had to do with a man who wore glasses and was part of the beard gang, while TBoss depicted him as a Cyclops with one eye that could see everything. She even gave him a funny hairdo. As for Marvis, she just scrawled the word ‘Big Brother’ and perched a crown at the end of the word Big, while Kemen’s picture was a bit confusing. The only visible thing on it is the Big Brother logo.

While listening to their reasons for picturing him the way they did, Big Brother commended housemates and told them that the Big Brother house was also a forum for continuous and constant learning as well as an avenue for showcasing their creativity.

Indeed, the housemates were all correct; Biggie was everything they ever painted, even more than they ever imagined.

Fast forward to this year’s show which is currently airing, colleagues were quick to remind Alex that she would see Leo again, after the former appeared to be crying her heart out. “No one has died,” one of them told Alex. With this, I imagine why colleagues cry when their close pals are evicted in a show where none of them would remain forever. And I thought of the outside world as ‘heaven’ while the Big Brother House is the earth.

Imagine that 20 housemates were the creations that occupied the earth in this show when it started on January 28, 2018. Now, they must ‘die’ one after another in what is called eviction. They cry freely for their close pals, but are consoled that they will meet outside the show to part no more. Imagine how Leo was looking when he joined Ebuka on stage after his eviction. Looking at Alex from the screen as she cried uncontrollably, he said she is the reason he was feeling sober; in essence, not for losing the prize money. Imagine how our departed ones look down at us, unable to come back, unable to touch or talk back to us… And just as we talk about the judgment day, the society, the fans, already have their ways of judging these housemates, and some will be stunned by other realities when they come out. The prize money is the earthly reward, how the society receives each housemate, and the fortune they make as a result of their three-month sojourn is the real reward of the ‘judgement day’.

  • BBNaija: My positivity has kept me in the house – Rico

Rico reveals why he has continued to shake off eviction in the house.

His reason while consoling a rather unhappy Alex was due to “positivity” and abiding by the “fruits of the spirit.”

Alex who was unable to get over Leo and the love they shared in the past, sought solace from Rico Swavey, a housemate who was keen to share his secrets of success.

“The reason why people vote for me is because I am always positive,” Rico said.

“I see light in dark and see good in the bad.

“Positive vibes is like magnet. Do not attract negative vibes. You are dealing with humans and not rice and beans, bolts or nuts.”

Rico who went further to add biblical excerpts to his way of life, alluded the fruits of the spirit to why he was always cool, calm and collected. He explained that this path has brought him only peace and positivity and encouraged Alex to do same.

“I focus on a good and positive mindset every time I wake up. Yes, there are times you lose balance but you ask for grace to carry on,” Rico added.

Alex accepted and even practised the message in the end as she was seen happily interacting with other housemates and the trio of Miracle, TeddyA and Tobi while they played table tennis by the closet.

  • BBNaija records first break in transmission

Popular Nigeria TV Show, Big Brother Naija has recorded a break in transmission for over ten minutes.

This rare occurrence happened before the beginning of a task where parcels were handed to the housemates as an instruction was being passed by Current Head of House, Nina.

The break in transmission which is happening for the first time on the show was preceded by a lot of blinks on the TV screen before the show was suspended for over ten minutes with the message:

“Apologies for the break in transmission, we will be back soon.”

The show resumed again with Lolu and Alex pondering over their task before going off after a few seconds.

This break could be linked to an error in transmission. Thereby suspending millions of viewers into a deep web of suspense.

However the show continued to come on and off with audio playing at the background.

Big Brother Naija now has ten contestants left in the show to compete individual with only 41 days left till the show ends.

  • BBNaija: Khloe and Leo make fun of Alex

Recently evicted Big Brother Naija Double Wahala housemate Leo and disqualified housemate Khloe have been spotted making fun of Alex  in a recent video making rounds online.

It was a bad moment for Alex on Sunday as she had an emotional outburst when  her Ex-strategic partner Leo was evicted.

In the clip, Khole could be seen  mimicking Alex the way she was crying when Leo and his strategic partner Ifu Ennada left the house while Leo laughs on at the background.

Though the duo were quick to denying this, fans find it hard to believe.

Most people think it is inappropriate for them to make fun of Alex in that manner.
