Relationship therapist and life coach, Solomon Buchi, has responded to an X user who wonders why God continues to favour controversial artist Portable despite his lifestyle.

Dami curiously took to his X platform to wonder why despite his lack of connection with God, irregular tithing, arguing and indulging in every horrible offence known to man, Portable continues to get benefits from Him. 

Reposting the tweet, Solomon Buchi asserted that Portable’s benefits are not from the Lord.

He emphasised that earthly values such as diligence, boldness, and constancy are associated with rewards on earth.

The life coach advised against overworking oneself in quest of wealth since Christ’s eternal life is more valuable than all riches.

His words: “Portable is not blessed according to the Lord. The blessings of the Lord are in our response to Godliness- a regeneration of our desires, and minds and redemption of our souls. 

“That being said, having earthly riches is greatly subject to general earthly principles of hard work, courage and consistency. No matter who you are, if you work hard, stay courageous and consistently do a thing, your chances of succeeding increase.

“However, it is still the Lord that maps our life’s lot, because some people(believers and unbelievers) will never amass a certain kind of earthly riches and power. 

“That’s why godliness with contentment is a better perspective than riches. Stay diligent, hard-working, positive, courageous, confident, stewarding your skills in your chosen profession or vocation. If you get rich, glory to Jesus. 

“If you don’t get rich, glory to Jesus. Don’t overwork yourself seeking riches. No riches are greater than the eternal life of Christ. Remember, you’re not sustained by your hands, Jireh looks after the lazy flowers, how much more you?”.

Controversial singer, rapper, and songwriter Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has fired back at actress Laide Bakare after she referred to him as a “dirty boy from Sango.”

Portable asserted his wealth, suggesting he could afford to marry her.

Laide, during an interview with Talk to B, referred to Portable as a dirty boy while discussing sensitive and personal topics, following some vulgar statements the singer made on her media page.

She was asked personal questions, including the controversy surrounding her child being claimed by two individuals alleging to be the child’s father.

In response, she stated: “That’s where Wahala started. When I finished my house in Lekki, I sent out invitations. I saw it, they saw it, no response at all.

“I told them, ‘You’re not okay.’ I sent invitations to you, and you didn’t even say anything. So, when I now got my vehicle, a person commented under my post, saying, ‘Sorry rich woman.”

The actress added that Portable was the one who commented so she went on to abuse and insult him, calling him “a dirty mad boy from Sango.”

In a subsequent video, Portable responded, emphasising that Bakare had earlier stated that if her husband cheats, she’ll cheat as well.

Consequently, he cautioned her against associating with his wife, saying that her influence might hurt his wife

Portable stated: “No be you do interview say if your husband cheats, you go cheat. Due to this, I messaged and asked that you shouldn’t associate with my wife, who is an actress.”

“Because you’re unfortunate, you might advise her to cheat as well.”

Regarding Bakare’s comment about him being a dirty boy, Portable said: “You called me a dirty boy, but I can buy and marry you. Who is your husband? Tell me your husband.”

Controversial singer Portable has faced yet another challenge, with thieves breaking into his studio and making off with several pieces of equipment while he was absent.

This news was broken in a recent post on his Instagram page.

In a video accompanying the post, the voice of a woman could be heard explaining that the studio had been burglarized several hours earlier, with an unidentified individual forcibly entering the premises and stealing multiple items.

The feminine voice in the video said: “I thought of going to the studio this morning. See everywhere, they have scattered and broken everything. They brought down the door, see this place.”

“See the inside, everything here they carried it, even the PS they carried it. They took everything. See this place, this is where they broke and forced their way inside.”

Meanwhile, Portable, in a separate video, was heard expressing his frustration and advising people not to trust anyone.

He also revealed his intention to go after those behind this act, which took place while he was away.
