Yul Edochie to men: Confidence, not money, attracts women

Controversial Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has advised men to remain confident and focused when approaching women, stressing that money is not the main factor that attracts them.

Sharing his thoughts in a message to young men, Edochie said confidence is key when expressing interest in a woman, regardless of her social or financial status.

“Young men, let me give you some tips as an OG in the game. If you like a lady, no matter her status, walk up to her and tell her you like her. Don’t wait till you have money before you can talk. Money is not everything,” he said.

He added that being bold is more important than wealth, and urged men not to be discouraged by the fear of rejection.

According to Edochie, the worst that can happen is a woman saying “no,” which should not stop any man from taking his shot.

“Confidence is number one. Ladies love men who have guts and confidence no matter their class. Never let your confidence level drop for any reason. She will not kill you; she’ll either say yes or no. But most likely, in the end, she’ll say yes, because ladies love strong men”, he added.

Edochie’s advice continues to stir debate, with many reflecting on his unconventional approach to romance.
