    My friendship not tied to religion – Yul Edochie

    Controversial actor and self- acclaimed pastor, Yul Edochie has assured friends of his unwavering love for them regardless of their choice of religion. 

    He dissociated himself from discrimination while promising his friends that they will always be friends any day any time. 

    Yul added that if he preaches Jesus to any of them and they don’t believe it, it doesn’t change their friendship because he doesn’t discriminate.

    According to Yul, like minds and the love for humanity keeps them together.

    Our correspondent noted this change on Monday, February 19.

    Danielle, previously known as Danielle Yul Edochie, now goes by Danielle Diana Dubem.

    Controversial actor and pastor Yul Edochie has apologised to members of his online church after failing to hold a live broadcast service on Sunday. 

    Netizens had dragged the self-ordained Pastor after being seen drinking a bottle of beer despite being a self-professed Pastor. 

    The Nation reported that Yul Edochie had held his first online service days after announcing his call to ministry. 

    He took to his social media page to tender an apology to his members.

    The actor noted that the reason for the failure was due to some ‘unavoidable challenges’.

    He wrote: “Greetings to all members of the True Salvation Ministry Worldwide.
    We sincerely apologise for not holding our live broadcast today. This was due to some unavoidable challenges. But they have been sorted out. Thank you for your understanding. See you all in our next live broadcast. 

    “To all our new members, you can still watch our previous live broadcasts on our YouTube channel, Yul Edochie TV. This week will be wonderful and prosperous for us all in Jesus’ name, Amen. Always remember that the most important teaching of God is LOVE. God bless us all.”

    Yul Edochie demands arrest of artist over ‘funny’ artwork of Charles Awurum

    Actor and proclaimed pastor, Yul Edochie has called for the arrest of an artist who recently created a caricature drawing of his colleague, actor Charles Awurum.

    Yul Edochie, who humorously expressed his disappointment at the “ugly” depiction of his colleague, demanded justice for the disrespectful portrayal.

    The actor shared a picture of the artwork on his Instagram page, revealing that he came across it and couldn’t stop laughing.

    He declared that the painting was the opposite of the actor and that the artist ought to be arrested for portraying the actor in such an ugly way.

    Yul wrote: “I came across this, and I couldn’t stop laughing. The artist that did this to @charlesndawurum should be arrested.”

    Yul Edochie reacts to failed prophecy on Super Eagles

    Controversial actor and acclaimed pastor, Yul Edochie, has responded to the series of backlash he received after his prophecy on Super Eagles winning 2023 AFCON failed. 

    The Nation reported that Yul, before the match on Sunday, predicted that the Super Eagles would defeat Ivory Coast in the final.

    In a post on his Instagram page, he said: “Today’s game will not get a penalty shootout. Nigeria will comfortably defeat the Ivory Coast.”

    However, the Super Eagles suffered a 2-1 defeat to Ivory Coast.

    Following the loss, Nigerians on social media took to Yul’s page to express their disappointment and label his prophecy as fake.

    Reacting amid the backlash, Yul in a post on his page said: “It is well. Thank you Super Eagles. Getting to the finals is as good as winning. We are proud of you all. Great performance in the tournament.

    Actor Yul Edochie has expressed appreciation to his father, Pete Edochie, thanking him for his unwavering support towards his new found ministry.

    The movie star, two weeks ago, revealed that he was finally ready to accept the call of God, with the announcement of his online Ministry, True Salvation Ministry, where he will be preaching the gospel.

    Taking to his Instagram page, the actor revealed that his veteran father has endorsed his ministry after watching his first service and enjoyed it.

    He said his father called him on Wednesday to congratulate him for successfully holding his first life program as a Minister of God.

    Questioning what more he could ask from a father, he appreciated him for the support and prayed for him to live longer.

    Actor Yul Edochie has reflected on what God told him after the demise of his son, Kambili. 

    Yul, while sharing the profound words on his youtube channel, looked devastated.

    He claimed to have heard from God, who assured him of unwavering love. 

    Yul Edochie asserted that God told him he was preparing him for a journey ahead, which in due course, he would comprehend.

    He said: “I was in my room all alone in my house in Lagos. I was all alone, I was heartbroken, shattered. This happened a few days after I lost my son. I was knocked out, just in my room, down, I couldn’t understand why it happened.

    “God spoke to me, he said a couple of things to me. The first thing he said is that I shouldn’t think He doesn’t love me. I love you, and I have always loved you and I will always love you, but I have my reasons for letting this happen.

    “He said I wouldn’t understand why this is happening now, at this point in your life, but in time to come, you will understand.

    “Then He said again that I need the pain and he is taking me somewhere, on a journey and because of that journey I need the pain and the pain I was passing through is part of the process.

    “He told me to give him praise, at all times and in all situations. You don’t know why I let it happen, but trust him and give him praise.

    “God also said to me that it is okay to cry, but when I am done, I should get up, wipe my tears, and keep moving because I am a soldier.

    “All the things happening in your life, it all your destiny, you need the process”.
