    Controversial social media commentator Daniel Regha has weighed in on the new pastoral calling of actor Yul Edochie.

    Yul Edochie has faced lots of criticisms from netizens since announcing his call into ministry to do the Lord’s work.

    The actor who doubles up as a pastor informed that he is now ready to work towards the calling he has on his life.

    Many celebrities have reacted to the new calling of the actor with some dragging him for claiming to be a man of God without going to a pastoral school or having a spiritual father.

    Amidst the online saga, Daniel Regha has joined the chorus as he also drags Yul.

     According to him, Yul Edochie is mocking the Christian faith and could have been dealt with if God operated like a small god called “Amadioha”.

    “Yul Edochie is very lucky that God isn’t Amadioha; Imagine him saying that “If you’re on the right path people will always say things about you”, the audacity. No be only Praise the Lord. Indeed many are called but few are chosen,” he posted.

    Controversial media personality, Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze, has said actor Yul Edochie isn’t less qualified than any pastor to open a ministry.

    The Nation reported that Edochie has been faced with varying degrees of backlash from netizens since announcing the launch of his online Ministry, True Salvation Ministry, where he will be preaching the gospel.

    Reacting, Daddy Freeze as long as ul preaches the truth, he isn’t lesser than any Nigerian pastor to open a Ministry.

    On his Instagram page, he wrote: “Yul Edochie is not less qualified than any Nigerian pastor to open a ministry as long as he preaches the truth.

    “Your lying @ss pastors with their f@les monetized doctrines, conjured miracles, and testimonies are doing more harm to the gospel than Yul can ever do. Focus on all the failed prophecies GOs and the life imprisonment Bishops, leave Yul.”

    The Nation reported that Edochie recently conducted the inaugural church service, True Salvation Ministry, on his YouTube channel.

    The newly ordained pastor provided insights into the moment he felt called by God and the divine guidance he experienced.

    Reflecting on past encounters with religious leaders who prophesied his future in ministry, Yul recalled a pivotal moment when a near-fatal accident on Ore road solidified his commitment to his calling.

    Following a narrow escape from the fatal outcome, Yul described a transformative experience where a compelling voice urged him to dedicate his life to serving God and humanity.

    This revelation marked the beginning of his “second life,” distinct from his previous pursuits.

    He said in part: “As far back as 2012, 2013, I’ll meet a couple of men of God, pastors and they will always tell me that you are destined to be a minister of God, you can’t run away from it, you are going to be a minister.

    “As time went by I started to hear the voice myself like anywhere I am, most of the time when I’m in an enclosed place, just me, I’ll be hearing that voice telling me you are going to work for God.”

    Edochie revealed the prevalence of wickedness, jealousy, anger, and betrayal in society, urging people to purge their hearts of such negativity and instead cultivate a spirit of compassion towards humanity.

    He said: “So much wickedness in people’s hearts so much jealousy, anger, backstabbing, and so much evil. You can’t serve God with such hearts. Free your heart from such vices.     Reactions have followed the pastoral act of controversial actor, Yul Edochie, who held his first online Church service yesterday with his True Salvation Ministry.

    The Nation reported that the actor last week shared his new line of duty as he posted a church flyer for the new online ministry.

    Kick-starting its maiden edition, the movie star, who assumed the title of a pastor, preached for over one hour, praying for listeners and advising them on the right path.

    Yul’s switch to ministerial work undoubtedly came as a big surprise to people, causing them to troop en masse to his YouTube channel to hear what he had to say.

    One @Intriguecrest wrote: “The journey with God is personal, so it is OK if many do not fathom your journey or even attack you while you are at it but you will be fulfilled embarking on this journey with God. May God lead you, always.”

    He added that if someone’s posts don’t align with his spirit, he blocks them immediately and he is okay if they retaliate by blocking him.
