Associates hail Yusuf’s support for less privileged, others

The friends and associates of Alhaji Kamorudeen Olawale Yusuf, Personal Assistant to the President on Special Duties, have commended the latter’s philanthropic gestures thus far, describing it as something worthy of emulation by all.

Speaking at a fundraiser for a charitable cause in Ado-Odo, in Ogun state, on Wednesday, Mr Musbau Semiu Ademola (MSA), who spoke on behalf of Yusuf’s circle of friends and political associates, described the presidential aide in affectionate terms and superlative adjectives.

Ademola, who waxed philosophical, said, “One good friend can change your life,” adding that this speaks to the inspiring story of Alhaji Kamorudeen Olawale Yusuf and his circle of friends.

“Friendship is one of life’s greatest blessings. A single, true friend can change the trajectory of another’s life, providing support, guidance, and inspiration at the moments it matters most. “Some friendships are fleeting, defined by convenience, but others are deep, transformative, and built on a foundation of trust, loyalty, and shared progress,” he stressed.

While making oblique reference to the different charitable causes Yusuf has singlehandedly spearheaded, Ademola said, “Alhaji Kamorudeen Olawale Yusuf is a man whose unwavering commitment to his friends has not only changed lives but has also created a legacy of goodwill and empowerment that continues to ripple across communities. Alhaji Kamorudeen is not just a friend—he is a pillar of support, a mentor, and a guiding force.”

Expatiating, Ademola emphasised that “His approach to friendship is extraordinary; he does not merely stand by and watch his friends struggle or celebrate from afar when they succeed. Instead, he takes an active role in their journeys, ensuring they have the resources, encouragement, and moral support needed to achieve their dreams.

“He sees beyond present circumstances, recognising the potential in people and doing everything in his power to help them actualise it.

“His generosity is not limited to words of encouragement; it extends to tangible acts of support, from financial assistance to business mentorship, and from professional guidance to simply being a source of strength in difficult times. Many of his friends can testify that without his timely interventions, their stories may have taken a different turn.

“His belief in their abilities fuels their own self-belief, pushing them to aspire for more, strive harder, and refuse to be limited by setbacks. The true measure of a man is not in his wealth or status but in the impact he has on others.”
